“We still do it like we supposed to – Street Certified” is the chant heard throughout M.O.P.’s new track with Mobb Deep.
With M.O.P. currently working on an album (one of the contributors includes DJ Premier), a new track was bound to be released. What better way to resurface than to release a track with another legendary group from NYC, Mobb Deep. M.O.P.’s Billy Danze and Lil’ Fame and Mobb Deep’s Prodigy and Havoc each spit aggressively over the track’s menacing production. “Street Certified” was premiered by DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45 earlier this week so forgive the radio rip, an official single should make its way to soundcloud and audiomack soon.
M.O.P. isn’t the only group making a comeback. Mobb Deep also dropped the first taste of their album, The Infamous Mobb Deep, late last week. 2014 is starting to look good for fans of both groups.
