    1. Didn’t know what to think about this at first but this grew on me like crazy. This is classic shady, definitely 5 stars.

    2. you feminem fan white boys need to get off his dick and accept the fact that his last few albums have been garbage. Drake makes way better albums and music its a fact.

    3. Nice clickbait seeing as how he won Reader’s Choice and was runner up for Verse OTY, Comeback OTY and Emcee OTY – all on this site.

    4. This song is absolutely dope. Like whiplash on the first listen through cuz youre expecting something crazy serious and lyrical, but the song is actually hilarious, ill rhymes, great instrumental. Couldn’t disagree more with this pick.

    5. i really dont see how this album is a let down. magna carta holy grail was the biggest letdown of the year

    6. THIS IS 100% TRUE ONLY EMINEM NERDY FANS BUMP HIS NEW SHIT WE WANT THAT OLD LOSE YOURSELF NO APOLOGIZE THE WAY I AM TYPE OF EMINEM SOMETHING THE HOOD CAN LISTEN TO AS WELL NOT JUST SOME MAINSTREAM BULLSHIT

      1. Why there’s ass in everywhere? ‘Bitch-ass’, ‘HipHopDX-ass’, ‘Your Name *, Ass’.. GodddddddddddDDDDamn.

    7. this album was like the best and worst at the same time almost. like all of his albums, it was inconsistent. had a majority of very clever, enjoyable songs that were well written but there was that handful of songs including love game that were awful or just didn’t belong. to put it this way when i burned a copy for my car including the bonus tracks, i cut every single one of his radio singles off and used 16 great tracks which probably none of will be on the radio. don’t know why he’s chosen to adapt to censorship instead of tell censorship to blow him like the old days and put out whatever the fuck he wants. he had disgustingly horrible radio songs like guilty conscience and all that type shit back in the day and it all did very well. i’d rather hear him be raunchy as fuck than do some gaystream sounding shit with rihanna

      1. I think the radio singles work. Berzerk should have opened the album. I hated Monster at first, but now I appreciate the way it works with a handful of other songs on the album that deal with the tension between artist and the man. Survival was the only of the singles that I liked from the first time I heard it.

You are right about the fat on the album though. I posted a link before to my Spotify version of the album where I pared it down to 11 tracks that I think make a real cohesive album.

    8. To be honest, I think MMLP2 is only a “disappointing album” if you were expecting it to be as striking and impressive as the original. Compared to the rest of his recent work, I think it’s a massive improvement (i.e. far less screaming, thank God) and considering the disappointments of said recent work, it actually exceeded my expectations. People expecting a perfect album from him need to remember that even his great albums had inconsistencies and the poppy songs (“My Name Is”, “Stan”, etc.) that people love now.

    9. It wasn’t that disappointing to me. Em hasn’t made a good album since 2000 so I wasn’t expecting anything that great. This wasn’t that great as I expected. A couple good tracks but as usual a commercial pop album.

    10. If this album dissapointed you then there’s a chance you will never like any album whatsoever. The skills and honesty are unique there is simply not one other well known rapper who can compete with this. Seriously, you don’t like hiphop if you don’t like this album

    11. i’ m not a big em fan but this album wasn’t that bad there was way more disappointing albums listening to it felt like a MMLP 2 album. This year we didn’t get many high quality albums we got Jay, Drake, Kendrick, Meek and Eminem but other then that everything else just sounded the same or sounded more like mixtapes at best. I remember at one point hiphopdx was my first stop for all things hip hop but now its turned to a site of TROLLS

      1. Drakes album kills this if we are talking R&B. Fuck outta here with that bullshit. “Nothing Was The Same”. Bullshit, everything was the same on that album except started from the bottom. Which is just filled with lies.

    12. Eminem was talked about for 3 months, no one even mentions MMLP 2 anymore, Em is no doubt a legend in the game, but by the summer MMLP 2 will only be remembered because the radio is playing whatever pop sounding singles from it em still makes a video for

    13. Only 2 or 3 good tracks at best. And by far the best track was left off the album. Em, has the worst choice in beats of anyone.

    14. the funny thing about Relapse is : if Em recorded it with his normal voice, it coulda been an AMAZING album. I wish he would re-record it.

      1. finally, some one that doesnt spit on relapse. I love the dark eminem, his wordplay is crazy on relapse. People just judge the album based on the singles, which were trash. 3am is my jam.

    15. We all expected this song to be a “lyrical exercise” between those 2, and go bar-for-bar. Em said himself he knew thats what people expected and wanted to go left with it (I wish he woulda gave us what we expected tho, but I understand). I just wish they will give us what we want soon. Anyway, the song is not even bad. They both killed it

    16. screw you hiphop DX and screw anyone who thinks this album sucks
      its LYRICALLY better than Recovery!!
if yall only listen to the radio songs then clearly ur missing out dont listen to the radio songs listen to the whole album
      AND bonus tracks

      bad guy
      legacy
      so much better
      rap god
      brainless
      evil twin
dont front (call of duty track)
      baby
      groundhog day
      wicked ways

ALL GOOD TRACKS AND THE BEST TRACKS on the album
      screw u DX

    17. “Disappointing Album Of The Year” I’m sure your remedial editors spelled “Yeezus” wrong. Fire your whole staff DX.

    18. yeah… anybody remember HotNewHipHop.com???

Fuck you hip hop dx. eminem showed the best lyricism ever with this album. no artist has EVER surpassed the lyrical capabilities on this album. Fuck you dx.

    19. and yes, everyone saying MCHG was the most disappointing, you are right, but don’t forget, jay-z’s dick is probably bigger than Em’s and DX probably cant get the words out to admit it with all of that sausage in their mouth

    20. Pleeease!! “yeezes” is the most disappointing album of the year! This album is good not great but Em puts more effort&talent&bars then any Waka Flaka lame, Cuchie Mann,2 chains, or these other sayin nothing artist..please
