Songz flame. Get ridda dat J cole verse tho…Dudes Trash. Take J cole off the song for the album version. New rappers don’t belong next to baldhead slick. Don’t flood album with features.
Man, STFU. You can go listen to your Cole songs about him losing his virginity and singing like a lame all over his album. You dont gotta be from NY to prefer hardcore hiphop.
“poison of Western philosophy make us sloppy
We forgot we are the chosen
From hip-hop to astronomy, they copy what we showed them”. There’s a difference between being pro-black and being anti-white. All this negative rhetoric about race and colour is blighting hip-hop at the moment. Why the need for ‘they’ and ‘us’. You’re not breaking down the barriers, you’re helping keep them up.
I love this joint. it’s very unique and very profound. Guru brings major powerful lyrics with some substance in it and J. Cole flips it his way. It’s a great combination and it sounds like they’ve recorded it next to each other.
Big fan of Guru, he does his thing (as always). But in my opinion Cole’s verse is better without competition. He has so many different flows and his thoughts go so much deeper. I guarantee if any of the old heads who think cole ruined it were to just read the lyrics and not see who wrote which verse, they’d say “damn, verse 2 is dope”

THIS SHIT IS FIRE!!!
J Cole is trash
He is an amazing artist and top 5 of his generation (Benny is better though). He also had the better verse on the song.
Would’ve been a 5, but J Cole is on it and as usual he’s blah.
Shit was fire. Too bad the comment section is full of old hating ass folks.
