If you read eminems book, ‘the way i am’ you’ll know how much proof meant to detroit. everyone thought that proof was the one that was gonna make it big and put detroit on the map, not eminem. em even said it himself in the book and in a song. get educated on what you are saying before you say it.
Everything he touches is fire. Not many rappers can make such a wide array of songs. I like wayne and he is extremely skilled but every song is about absolutely nothing. Every verse has a new metaphor for how fat his pockets are or what the F in his name stands for. Give most rappers a topic to stay on (like this song, stan, cleaning out my closet, etc) and they fail.

Yeah I got love for Em too, but idk about those two albums being better than Recovery though (possibly Relapse, possibly). Yeah Recovery has the pop singles and consistent theme but I like his deliveries, a lot more energy.
Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem Show, and Recovery are classics (arguably the biggest comeback since MJ). The rest of his body of work are “good rap albums” but not classic. Yeah I got love for Em too, but idk about those two albums being better than Recovery though (possibly Relapse, possibly). Yeah Recovery has the pop singles and consistent theme but I like his deliveries, a lot more energy.
Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem Show, and Recovery are classics (arguably the biggest comeback since MJ). The rest of his body of work are “good rap albums” but not classic. Of course some of his individual singles are ‘classic’ but I think everyone is forgetting to factor in Shady’s future. He’s adding Slaughterhouse (Royce) and Detox is on the way. The potential here is uncomprehendable.
