This joint is hot. Of course, strict hip hop heads will probably be quick to berate it. I dig it.
I like the beat, I was just waiting for Black Thought to kill it tho.
dope track, I hope Black Thought has at least a few verses on the album though.
Disappointed that Black Thought didn’t have a verse just like everybody else, but Elvis Costello is a cool old geezer. Nice track.
so far i’m feeling the sound, not even disappointed Black Thought wasn’t on it, although a little curious how that woulda sounded, but i have a strange feeling Black Thought will be absent from majority of the album
very fresh !
NOT FEELIN IT…
better than hip hip
will buy this just out of respect for ?uestlove and the roots
While being a fan of Elvis’ voice would certainly help the listening experience, this is still a quality record. Def would’ve enjoyed a BT verse, he’d probably do work w/ that drum and bass end piano line. All in all, it almost has a Gorillaz feel to it.
