    1. Pretty dope. I’m giving it 5 stars so as not to be a buzzkill when people see a new “Detox” track…keep that excitement up. Lol

    2. This track is NOT new. Kendrick sounds like section .80 Kendrick. You can hear it in his voice. Not matured yet. Not even GKMC Kendrick. Dope track regardless

    3. this is a mess. Dre sounds like Game (for a change someone sounds like Game and not vice versa), part of the terrible chorus is jacked from a classic Roots song, Kendrick was disappointing and the beat wasn’t even ghost producer status and was most likely made by an Aftermath intern.

      1. It’s HHDX man. It’s expected at this point. I’d be commenting if they didn’t make a mistake

    4. damn i cant imagine creating a song this dope and then letting it rot on my hard drive.. let them shits breathe Dre!

    5. Jeremih sounds awful and annoying. Whoever said that he can actually sing? Mediocre song, and it’s not mixed anyway

    6. really sounds like s1 production and short of 50 cent. Honestly, 50 did this already on big 10 and 5 murder by the numbers. I guess I expected something bigger than just a moderate joint. Nice one tho.

    7. i like Jeremih but he doesnt fit the flow of this song..needed a little more soul and passion in it not just singing..good song none the less though.

    8. I’m going to be honest. Dr. Dre’s music hasn’t evolved in years. He has a distinct sound that is recognizable but as a fan I’ve outgrown it now.

I was waiting for Detox for so long, but this song is so mediocre imo. That’s why Detox won’t come out. Dre cant innovate the game like new artists or artists like Yeezy.

    9. Remember when Dre could spit ghostwritten bars & you’d have to really study the lyrics, punchlines, delivery & flow to know who wrote it, well all these leaks are fucking blatent especially Kenny wrote that verse!

      1. Seriously tho…does he have to spit it exact, like with the voice change and everything. This reminds me of that Diddy song that Monch wrote on that press play album…like not even a shred of effort to make it sound like his own verse. It’s bad enough to not write your own shit, but to not even put your own flavor on a ghostwritten verse is just shameless.

    10. and this is exactly the reason why Detox will never be put out. Dre is too old to make the shitload of cake he could do touring the album. Plus, everybody would come out to a Dre reunion show anyway because you know Snoop, Em, and Kendrick would be there – he doesn’t need a new album to promote himself. So basically the guy would have to settle for making a few million of Detox and have a whole bunch of average songs like this on there. This song is decent at best and we would all be looking for a classic album full of straight bangers.

    11. Why is anyone mentioning detox anymore. Multiple people including dre himself admitted the project was axed like 2 years ago. He still thinks he intends on releasing a new project, with Kendrick, but it won’t be called detox, and it will likely never be released just like detox.

    12. GAME, KENDRICK, DR DRE = CRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TO PIMP A BUTTERFLY!!! THE DOCUMENTARY 2!!!! DETOX!!!!! CLASSIC WES WES NIGGA!!!! COMPTON TO CHIRAQ!!!!! STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON MOVIE!!!! REAL HIP HOP SHIT NIGGA!!!!!

    13. Please don’t release detox. Hip hop is done. These Chris brown sounding hooks are ridiculous. I’m really tired of this pop sounding hip hop. What has happened to the west coast sound? I’m so fucking pissed off at the state of hip hop.

The best part of the song was dre. But seriously the west coast needs a west coast version of joey badass. Someone that will bring the west coast sound back.

    14. The audio on this track is close to something special, but hasnt hit the mark. It sounds chilled and futuristic, but a little off tempo for my liking. The rapping doesnt go with it, was expecting better from the DOC, hopefully he keeps releasing tracks, Hip Hop needs him.

    15. I’m feeling the beat but I can’t get with that hook, and Dre sounds a bit stiff. I do like hearing Kendrick using his real voice though!
