      1. me too, everything is fine to get the message out.
but this is like a cheap ass dance beat from 15 years ago .. damn

this wont get the message out, plus it will baffle many dp fans like myself

      1. message is real indeed..
but man be honest to yourself if this was the new ymcmb single you wouldnt feel that beat for a second
        ..
none of you can doubt that.
        and i love dead pres

    1. Let me remind the “purists” that their first hit was produced by Kanye.

Dead Prez always had a mainstream sound but they got a message so leave them cats alone with the hate.

Do you know how hard it is to get a positive record play?

      1. I was not interested in hearing this, but after all the corny street music they dropped following the debut album, this is a warm welcome. Caught me off gaurd. Very deep.

      2. let me remind you that kanye didnt produce that first hit lol
he produced the remix / wich is basically the dead prez beat “reversed”
the one everybody knows, from chappelles show intro, is NOT produced by kanye west.

    2. Aint nobody gonna fuck with this shit lol. Its too pop for their actual supporters and too corny for the mainstream. Niggas need to stop reachin for other niggas fan-bases and just do them. Real talk.

    3. Damn! Dead Prez couldn’t of come harder than that wack ass electro beat? Lyrics are on point, not what anyone was expecting from these cats who been away for a minute.

    4. “You thought the finish line was 1999”

…but we in 2012. This is how real music evolves. Sure, the flows a LITTLE corny, but the new sound is dope, and the lyrics are righteous and EXACT! 4/5

    5. One of my favorite albums of all time is let’s get free by dead prez back in 99. But seriously this one of the worst songs I have heard but artists I respect. I blame lupe, eminem, jay z, kanye, 50 cent and all those wack pop rappers for this track right here. Actually no I just blame dead prez.

    6. Dope..the message is there and i overstand where they goin with this one.. For All the SLOW DUMB and BLIND people this song prob went over your heads..lol

    7. Everybody who didn’t like this song didn’t hear YOU THOUGHT THE FINISH LINE WAS 99 DIDN’T CHA? Some listen to music, and some just skim through it..

      1. Indeed, those who listen to how something is said vs whats being said will always miss it. Kudos to Prez for keeping themselves alive in the industry without compromising substance. 5/5

    8. Dead Prez>yourfavorite rapper…Song is a classic and it gets better the more I listen to it. Wish they had at least one more verse.

    9. Look out for the new Dead Prez exercise album. “Revolutionary Aerobics”. Were gonna revolutionize your bodies!! lol.
