      1. yeah I agree man, song is so dope. but that hook has got to go. That hook is seriously corny and doesn’t do this song justice. He needed some dwele or something on the hook.

    1. Common – 5
      Beat – 5
      Hook – 0.5

Man is that No I.D singing. The lyrics and singing in that hook were not good at all. Ruined that song man.

    2. I always thought (and still do) think that Kanye West was the most genius producer of now. And when I found out that No ID was Kanye’s mentor, I was puzzled. I heard a few No ID joints from Com’s albums but it was still hard for me to believe. But now that I listen more, it is clear how this guy truly is Kanye’s mentor.

Track is hot too. Can’t wait for Com’s new album.

    3. Raw!! You can tell Kanye learned a thing or two from NO ID…NO ID just sounds more polished..Another great common album on the way. People really need to buy this.

      1. No ID usually relies more on the samples to make it shine amplifies it to the point that it glorifies the original. usually Kanye focuses more on separate melodies that he makes himself to make it seem like a completely different track imo. both work

    4. Dope only thing i aint feelin is the hook but other than that shit is fly common may have another classic brewing.

    5. This joint is bangin’!! He didn’t really need that hook but I’ll work around it. What I hope this album does for Com, besides another gold plaque, is plant the seeds in people’s minds for top 5 consideration. For real, Common is coming up on 20 years in the game and the only joint in his catalog that could be considered wack is the first joint “Can I Borrow A Dollar?” and that could be chalked up to a rookie mistake. With the passing of time, does “Electric Circus” seem that wack in retrospect, given how exponentially wacker the game has gotten since ’02? “Universal Mind Control” was just Com reachin’ out to the club heads and he even did HIm on that joint. The rest of his albums are all either classic or near classic. “The Dreamer, The Believer: will be copped the day it drops.

      1. I put Common in my top five, and I agree that he normally drops nothing but quality. So I feel your point, but UMC was fucking wack man. Besides like two, maybe three, jams that album was terrible. Pharrell and Common are NOT a good pairing. Can I Borrow A Dollar is a better record than UMC, and that’s really saying something.

    6. This album is going to be classic. BE was a classic and this album sounding better than that just off the 4 singles he has released.

    7. Just realized the Dreamer the Beleiver comes out the day I’m off house arrest. I hate this ankle bracelet !!!
      28 days!!!!

Dec 20 = Common + back on the streets for Hudes

    8. The Dreamer/The Believer as a collective piece of work is going to be a modern day classic. nobody raps like this again nobody has this sound. Common stepped in a fuckin time machine with his last 3 singles and this aint no different

    9. Can’t stand the chrous. Not a fan of this track or the others I’ve heard of the album.

Just missing that musical range of “BE” – all the tracks sound boring…. Not NO ID’s best work.

      1. Man when i first heard the title track off Be…that is how you make a beat. This new album sounds good, but in a way I agree.

    10. Are you kidding me? This is bringing it back to Resurrection. Damn, Rashid, bring it back! I am buying this album fo sheez

    11. Chorus is pretty mediocre, Com fell off with this one, not what a REAL Common track should sound like…the beat is alright though.

      1. yeah Common has been on that level since like 1990. I think his focus is trying to stay at that level and still do something different.

    12. stupid people who think they know music always come with negative comments.. fuck off please the song is dope.. Common got a classic its way

    13. This chorus is dope, what are cats talking about? Its beautiful! I got all my niggas around, 100 chicks around, everybody home, aint nobody gone…..it feel good don’t it! Guess you really gotta appreciate it. ….Celebrate!!!!!!

      DETROIT STAND UP!!!!!!!!!!!

    14. this will be one of Common’s best albums easily. For me, probably be like Resurrection, Like Water, Dreamer/Believer
