Mad respect for anybody who actually uses the Wu-Tang Rap Name Generator to actually generate their rap name. Haha, but really though I wasn’t sure what to think when I heard he was gonna rap because I’ve seen his character on Community. When I heard Bonfire on the radio I was impressed and this song ain’t half bad either.
Real Hip Hop heads? That can discern from sociological gimmicks like Kreayshawn, Odd Future, and most of what the white world considers “dope”, can read through this act. Purists, realists, cynics, whatever you wanna label them? Can weed out the wack with a bit of, self reflection.
LoL… You think the white world considers Kreayshawn and Odd Future dope? I think you’re stereotyping a younger generation as the white world, although that younger generation is a huge melting pot of cultures. You may want to do a little more research on CG’s demographic while you’re at your stereotypes. You may realize that he has an immensely eclectic group of listeners, not just the “white world” you refer to. Additionally, no one is telling you to like Gambino, you can choose to ignore him and his listeners or continue your battle against the “white world,” whatever makes you happy, it’s all your right. Just don’t try to use advanced or political vocabulary and then resort to a bigot type of comment. Kind of ironic, you blame the white world for promoting the success of a black man… What’s your agenda? Or have you not thought that far?
Hahahaha, ‘the white world’. Dude’s trippin’ on some Illuminati shit. This guy is an award winning writer for shows like SNL and 30 Rock, made himself famous via a sketch comedy group on youtube, made a movie, produces his own beats and writes his own lyrics. When you accomplish something like that, I’ll start listening to your ‘me vs. the white world’ talk.
