Happy 50th Birthday to one of the greatest producers, DJ Premier.

only didnt know the Mac Miller one. I mean seriously who the fuck on a hiphop site doesnt know preemo produced Mathematics, Let Em Know or N2 Gether Now? or even MVP !
For real?!?! You think he also produced Premier In Deep Concentration? I don’t know man, I mean I always thought it was produced by Noah “40” Shebib or Boi-1da. I could be wrong though.
And also, where is the love for Extra P? He shares the same bday as Premier but no love for him? He’s arguably one of the top 10 most influential artists in hip hop history. Teach the youth. Yall should change the site name to SugarPopDX.
What an atrocious post! Any regular hip hop head knows Premier did 9 of these 12 tracks at the least… Did you know he did Royce – “Boom”? Someone told me he did KRS-One- “MCs Act Like They Don’t Know.” OC- “My World?” I feel like I’m writing part two of another brilliant DX article…
@Sparklepratt: Admirable in effort and the reason behind it, but still it’s not a very well done post: at least half of these songs on here are obvious Primo productions. And a little more interested listener of hip hop knows this shit. Or do you guys only post stuff for the oblivious people whom hardly know a thing about rap music?
Whoever made this list should be fired. Whoever didn’t or doesn’t know Preem produced 6th Sense, Mathematics and MVP has probably never or will never go on HHDX. C’mon man. @rapsopenchakras

ludacris literally says “Preemo track” on “MVP”.
this list is for people who don’t know how to read album production credits.

Here i was thinking i was about to learn some new shit …..
The one joint he produced people get surprised at is Devin the Dude – Doobie Ashtray.
Classic.
Yup! And on the Luda track he says something like, “First southern rapper on a Preemo beat!” Surprised Preemo let that slide and didn’t correct him
Should have thrown a Lord Finesse & DJ Mike Smooth track in there.
when u had be really great to get a premo beat ….it used to be something special
So did you know that if you pay attention to drum patterns, that you would know what a Preemo beat sounds like?
“this com-sense with DJ Premier” hiphopdx we gon help yall see clear. Kill yourself.
