i respect what him and kendrick are doing with the calm in funky jazz smooth sound but thats starting to already get boring af. real nas, jay-z, and eminem type lyrics that they can obtain wont ever get ground breaking reconigze if they keep doing this basic pace.
jd, it only gets boring if you’re not a fan of that type of sound – when you have been heavily emersed from it when not listening to hip -hop and it is now infused, it is a great sound — been rocking with Bilal before Kendrick so this is loved … respect.
Bilal been crafting this sound before the Kendrick collaboration.. Listen to his last 2 albums and you’ll see the similarities.. I bet this next album will b fire..I’m def fucking with this!!!
