REGULATE,When I first Heard It I knew It was A Hit record just off of the Micheal McDonald sample wit A twist of that G-funk Era
& the Legendary Nate D-O- double G on the hook. Instant “CLASSIC”,Like his Big brother Dre,Warren G Knows Music.I Just couldn’t believe Death-Row didn’t put Warren under that Umbrella.Because when I heard him & Mr.Grimm on that Higher Learning STK ’95ish(Indo-SMK)I Knew Mr.Warren G was A Problem wit his Production Skills!!! R.I.P Nate Dogg- Aka”Mr.Nobody does It Better”,Another Hit Sample record by him &Warren G. 2Pac “PAIN”,was A bonus hidden Gem,that I also Kept on REPEAT.H-town’s Part-time Lover was So slept on.Couldn’t believe they had A song on the Soundtrack, after Luke & Dre beef? H-town was signed to Luke records.
This was the 1st cd i ever bought in my life.. I loved the movie in elementary school.. I saved my lunch money for 2 weeks and bought this cd.. I bought it based on the 2pac “Pain” song that played at the beginning of the movie after Nutso falls off the roof.. To my disappointment, “Pain” was only on cassette release and not cd.. Deathrow was running shit.. Free Suge Knight!!
It is what it is, they rapped about this type of shiz cuz this is all they knew at the time…think about it most ppl talk/think way diff when there20 then they did when they are 30 something. .enjoy this cuz its real and honest not manufactured. There the best cuz there the first. They had nobody to copy from. 90 rap is the best and im 32yrs old
Pain by 2pac might b 22 years old but i still thump it. The lyrics and beat are on point,no dumb sh** like this nae nae generation.
But its not on the soundtrack. Where can I find it?
