great album from a great lyricist with crazy productions!!!
The Boom Bap in full effect
Sooooo Good
Dope album, dope lyricist, dope production. Good music. Buy this album, you will not be disappointed.
Possibly the purest hip hop record of the year…
Great record except that illmind beat
j
I don’t know why people support this dude. Nobody wants to hear some broke dictionary rapper talking about how much $ he doesn’t have. Wheres the shit for the ballers and the real money getters at? I just dropped 2k in the club last weekend and i know plenty of people who did the same. Hip-Hop is about status and wealth, which this dude has none. only appeals to broke ass bums….production is tight tho.
Hopefully your not serious about hip hop being about status and wealth. If you are then you need to get ass raped. Fools like you is why hip hop is dying.
u my friend know nothing about hip-hop if thats what u think its all about…
this kid is full of shit. just typing for the sake of it.
you are a straight up idiot. people like you are the reason weak ass artists like lil wayne sell.
Go listen to White Girl Mob you Idiot.
Dudes really need to stop living music videos hey. And if you want shit for the clubs, go to the clubs. Let us real heads appreciate true art.
first to say “ass raped”…oops, make that second…first to say “i fucked my mom’s leather couch when i was 16…and liked it!”
did it give birth to a lazyboy??
Bap Bap!!! Great album. Maybe greatest of the year.
Solid album. A week in, I still think it’s not up to par with Double Barrel. I even think Daily Conversation has greater appeal. The rating is a tad generous. 3.5 from me.
There’s been some great albums this year, but I think this is number 1 of 2011.
Coppinit next week
Definitely a contender for album of the year. The beats are dumb nice and the flow sounds improved since Double Barrell. The overall vision of this album is what hiphop is missing these days! Keep doing your thing Torae! Real hiphop living and breathing in BK right now. Skyzoo and Torae holding it down!!!!!
This album is out of this world. I have a hard time saying that I think anything is as good as Cats & Dogs, but this album definitely is. Torae is a beast.
very, very solid album…review was good, but after not highlighting any shortcomings u still gave it a 4-i’d give it a 4 and a half…
no disrespect to torae hes a good artist but y r u reviewing this rite now insted of welcome 2 strangeland
Cuz they can’t put genius into words overnight…
fire
he got some ill production for this project
great review but why a 4? seems like a 4.5 review according to text
torae came correct as always
I kinda of wish he would’ve had some of the brothers from BootCamp Click(Sean P,etc)on the album, but still a solid album.
torae is a wack emcee. decent internet rapper. no signature skills. freddie foxx lite with a lisp. under performs on a lot of hot beats. can’t remember one dope line he’s ever said. album’s playing now. falling in and out of consciousness. boring shit.
you must be a drake groupie
might wanna turn up your volume, or get ya ears checked. or ya just a lil wayne/drake groupie
@ Anonymous 2 & Wackstar, you know how it goes. There’s always gonna be that one fucknut who’s gonna try sounding different when the general consensus is that the album is real nice. Pay no mind to that isht. It’s played out.
I love how everyone jumps on Anonymous when he’s just giving his opinion, and a valid one at that. Do you really think that someone who made those string of sentences is a Drake groupie? Anonymous is probably a way bigger hip hop than any of y’all. How many Drake fans know who the fuck Freddie Foxx is?! lmao.
y’all are such fucking groupies. Instead of listening to the record, you jump up screaming ‘real hip hop!’
I’m a die-hard hip hop fan, and I think Torae is weak as fuck.
Another classic by Tor
copped this already
All these top tier producers and a credible label and no1 gives a fuckkk…..jeez proves connections are not the end all be all….Another rapper just rapping to rap.
Review on point. Dope album, definitive coppin it when it drops in europe. pz.
Another unexpected surprise of rawness. Underground forever baby!!!! 4/5

Very good, fully thought-out album.
Easily one of 2011’s best LPs. Definetely in my top 10. Torae really held it down, i’m a fan…
Was waiting for more, that’s not for me
TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.
One hell of a good album. 4.5/5 is what id give it.
