After much delay Felix Delgado pka Cuban Link …protegee of the late Big Pun and Terror Squad refugee has finally dropped his album after close to a year in waiting and delays that smashed his February drop date.
It was worth the wait…beginning with the track 1 Intro where the artist addresses his trials in the music business…he challenges all comers to doubt his path and goals.
He manages to keep the album quite ecclectic while dropping a few bangers…the variety of the CD is evident with the contrast between his homage to Big Pun on the cut Letter To The Better and his 24K days…
The production of the album is a bit dated…Swizz Beatz circa Summer ’04 and Denaun Porter …but tracks like Private Party and Comin Home With Me featuring Avant shows that this is an artist striving for the next level after almost half a decade of struggle in the game…he also shows that he can “handle” radio now with cuts like Sugar Daddy featuirng Mya and the “inspired” wannabe track I Need To Know.

Scandalous with Don Omar is another sleeper that shows that Link ain’t a guy to be slept on as regarding his creativity and reaching out to his roots as he employs reggaeton sound to an already standout album.
The CD is topped with Riderz featuring Cap-1 & Shakedown and Talk About It featuring Jadakiss that sets Cuban Links flow to that level in which he has been seeking.
