Hip hop today is over run with those who run it and those who try to get it! In the beginning of his career, Nature came into the game as the extra link of the New York super group (or supposed to be) The Firm featuring Nas, Az and Foxy Brown. When that flopped like Loud, Nature took his own stance and has returned to the game with his own independent release on Sequence Records. The title, Wild Gremlinz, is the name of the people who co-produced the majority of the albums 15 tracks. With Chin handling the bulk of the production and Megahertz also making an appearance on the boards, Nature has taken his game dolo.

The intro of the album has Nature laughing but you can’t help but think that Nas’ is the aim of his uncontrollable laughter as he tells listener’s that this isn’t that “cornball, radio shit”. Features include his crew Masta, Dog, Young Katz, Killz & Sabotage, Nature has takes his game to a plateau that shows how to make a successful independent release.

Wild Gremlinz” featuring Masta, Dog and Young Katz is a silent thuggish track with low haunting violins in the background, “The Ride” has a West Coast feel with a snapping snare that had heads bumping and “I Don’t Give A Fu*k” has a summer feeling that is sure to make it onto summer mixtape releases this summer.

The albums most interesting track is “Supa High” with its chorus “Let Me Know if your looking for smoke, I know some weed man, coke man, Nigg*’s with poke, Let’s Get Supa High.”

As with most releases these days, the album does come with its fair share of forgettable tracks like “Love That Hoe“, “Life and Death” and “I Don’t Give A Fu*k.”

With Nas hitting heads with his STILLmatic, Az coming back again and Foxy making BAD moves, Nature has worked well with what he has. And with the Wild Gremlinz at his side, he issure to bting the name Nature back to the front of rap.
