Yung Joc has shaved his head to honor a bet he lost in relation to the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion trial, in which the former was found guilty on all counts.

On Tuesday (December 27), Joc showed he’s a man of his word by letting his fellow Morning Takeover host, Shyneka, shave his head. The former rapper looked uncomfortable having his haircut but stuck through it to get the complete look.

In a clip shared on Instagram, Joc is seen preparing for the moment after being brought a “last meal.” His co-host then gets to work on his head and claimed: “This [is] for Meg Thee Stallion. This [is] for Meg and Roc Nation.”

In a clip from an interview with VladTV, the Atlanta native vowed to shave his head bald if Tory Lanez was found guilty — which ultimately happened.

“I’ma just say this, okay? I made a bet with Shyneka and Shawty Shawty on my morning show that if Tory is found guilty, I’ll shave my head,” Joc said. “I’ll shave my whole head bald. I told Shyneka if Tory [is] innocent, she gotta come to work with the braids that be under the weave. Can’t get ’em fresh, I need the weave patted down braids, the Beyoncé pat my weave braids. She gotta come to work like that.”

He added: “I can’t wait to see how this video turns out. Either way, this is a very unfortunate situation. Just through the eyes of watching it, I don’t ever want anyone to feel like I’m making fun of their situation, ’cause it’s very unfortunate and it’s very bad for our culture, but I pray that this plays out fair.”

Following eight days of trial, nearly two days of closing arguments and a day of deliberations, a grand jury found Tory Lanez guilty of all three charges levied against him.

The three counts were felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm, possession of a concealed, unregistered firearm and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. Lanez pleaded not guilty to all three but faces up to 22 years in prison and deportation to his native Canada.

Meanwhile, Yung Joc has offered a simple theory behind Kanye West’s recent spate of controversial comments and erratic behavior: Ye’s confused.

The rapper-turned-media personality said he believes that, in processing some of the information he’s been made aware of outside of the community, Ye has confused not only his core fan base, but also himself.

“It just turns into a whole theatrical nightmare,” Yung Joc told VladTV. “I feel like sometimes, Kanye does certain things for certain ears. Kanye has done some things and seen some things and been a part of some things that we’re not privy too, we’re not aware of. And in the process of him doing all that, he confused himself.”

Joc continued: “The lines got crossed up. You know when electrical wires get crossed up, what that shit do? It short out the system. He just shorted out his system.

“Somewhere in there, these same people [he thought would never turn on him], these the same people left you sitting on your ass because they can’t support certain things that you’re doing, no matter how much you’ve tried to garner their respect.”
