Yung Joc: Fashion Guru?

In order to promote his new album, Yung Joc has decided to make bold fashion statements. Take his hair cut for example. What would make Young Joc get a haircut similar to the one donned by Pac as Bishop in Juice?

“I wanted my own lane. One thing I’ve learned: You gotta know when the recycling curve takes place. Every 10 years, something comes back in style. Like look at 10 years ago, Master P was the biggest thing out. He was the Ice Cream Man. His ad-lib was ‘ugggh!’ Ten years later, Young Jeezy is hot, he’s the Snowman. His ad-lib is ‘yeeeahhh!’ My haircut is older than 10 years, so you can say the recycling curve comes in 10s and 20s [year increments]…I knew nobody else was gonna be bold enough to do it,” he said to MTV News about bringing back the “Gumby”.

That’s not the only change in his style. He also recently got a huge H on his rope chain. According to him, he’s received a lot of publicity because of it.

“I was on 2.7 million Web pages within two days of me wearing the ‘H’ in public. I did the research…I’m going to get people talking about my haircut; that was always one of my favorite haircuts,” he added.

Both seem like promotional tools for his latest album Hustlenomics. The album is set to drop in late August.

Aside from this extra fashion work, he’s also decided to join Screamfest ’07. The tour, which will also features T.I. and Ciara. For dates and locations for the tour, look below.
