A lawyer in Young Thug’s YSL RICO case is contemplating starting an OnlyFans amid claims the state is not paying her enough to represent her client.
In an interview with WSB-TV, defense attorney Angela D’Williams said her state agency, the Georgia Public Defender Council, isn’t doing enough to make sure poor Georgians can afford legal counsel, and in turn, she isn’t being compensated fairly to represent one of Thug’s co-defendants.

“This case is slated to last for about a year, and if you were to do the math, it would be six dollars an hour,” D’Williams said. “I can’t take any new cases. I can’t close any cases. I need something to survive off of. We were under the impression that GPDC was advocating for us, and once they put those walls up, I’m thinking I need to start an OnlyFans.”
D’Williams added that she came to court on one occasion to question GPDC’s executive director Omotayo Alli, but that Alli never took the stand. Instead, one of her lawyers served as a spokesperson for her.

“I asked for additional funds back in March, and that was met with a letter from the director saying she doesn’t need to meet with me anymore,” D’Williams said on the stand. “I need to know what she has done to advocate for the appointed counsel in this case.”
A spokesperson for GPDC told the outlet they are working to find additional funds for lawyers currently getting paid $15,000 for the entire case.
“If they really cared about those that are indigent, they would use taxpayer’s money wisely,” defense attorney KR Chowbey added in a comment to WSB-TV.
This serves as just the latest bizarre development in Young Thug’s legal case, and comes shortly after another attorney in the RICO trial was arrested for allegedly bringing prescription drugs to court and assaulting an officer.
The chaos unfolded on April 20 when Anastasios Manettas, who is representing YSL defendant Miles Farley, attempted to enter the courtroom, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Upon doing a routine search of Manettas’ bag around 10 a.m., officers discovered a bottle of prescription medication and immediately arrested him.
As officers moved in, Manettas allegedly tossed his phone to another attorney so that it wouldn’t be searched, but the phone missed and hit an officer.
As a result, the attorney was charged with simple battery on a law enforcement officer, possession of pills not in their original container, obstruction and disrupting court proceedings.
Just days earlier, Judge Ural Glanville had demanded courtroom security be tightened after chaos erupted during a hearing on April 19, which was sparked by YSL defendant Rodalius Ryan (also known as Lil Rod) screaming from behind chamber doors.

According to Law&Crime Network reporter Cathy Russon, Ryan was “escorted out of the courtroom by a bunch of deputies” before being taken to a holding cell, where he began screaming.
Young Thug was in court at the time, and could be seen in video footage looking confused as the courtroom became increasingly agitated. “Everyone chill,” officers said in court. “Clear the courtroom.”

Thug (real name Jeffery Williams) faces eight charges in the YSL case, including conspiracy to violate the RICO Act and two counts of participation in criminal street gang activity, along with multiple drug and weapons offenses.
