Young Thug supporters have started to think the YSL leader may have an album coming, as Thugga, Metro Boomin and London On Da Track have all shared a mysterious post on social media.
The Instagram post in question is nothing more than a QR code, which when scanned brings users to a website called businessisbusiness.biz. The website produces a countdown timer, which at the time of writing reads five days, 14 hours and 30 minutes, bringing the date to next Wednesday (June 21).

Aside from Young Metro and London, 808 Mafia producer Southside posted the QR code four times alongside the caption: “Overly free slime,” while Wheezy and Chase B also shared duplicate posts. “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS,” Thug wrote in his caption.
A slew of Thugga’s rap peers showed their support for the YSL leader, who is currently incarcerated as part of the ongoing YSL RICO Case, including Trippie Redd, Yeat, and Jacquees.
If a new album does appear, it would be Thug’s first since 2021’s Punk, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, moving 90,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
The new announcement comes at the same time Gunna dropped off a Gift & a Curse, his first new album since 2022’sDS4EVER, and the first since he was released from jail in December after pleading guilty to a sole racketeering conspiracy charge related to the YSL RICO case.
He was sentenced to five years with one year served due to the time he spent behind bars after being arrested in May last year as part of the sweeping indictment against YSL, which prosecutors allege is a “criminal street gang.”
Gunna has faced an onslaught of snitching allegations since pleading out but has insisted from day one that he didn’t snitch on anyone. He reaffirms this claim multiple times on a Gift & a Curse, specifically on the song “I Was Just Thinking,” where he opens up about crying over Young Thug’s situation and the “lies” people have been saying about him.
“That’s four walls talkin’ to you, tellin’ you you gone/ Only I done criеd, ’cause this feelin’ for my bro (King Slime)/ And you know my mind, you done watched that n-gga grow/ I know you hear the lies, it’s your lil’ brother, my folk/ Yeah, I had popped out, but don’t let ’em say I told,” he raps.

As for Thugga, he is admittedly having a hard time as the jury selection process continues to drag on for his high-profile case. As previously reported by WSB-TV, Young Thug (real name Jeffrey Williams) recently had a medical emergency while he was in court back in May, and the proceedings were halted as he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
“I know he’s had some difficulty of a similar sort at the Cobb County Jail a few months ago, and so I’m obviously concerned about his wellbeing,” his attorney, Keith Adams, told Judge Ural Glanville at the time.
