Young Thug fans aren’t happy with the rapper’s brother Unfoonk after he took to social media to share a message to his kin.

After copping a plea deal in 2022 as part of the ongoing YSL RICO case, Unfoonk has been accused of snitching by a majority of his brother’s fan base.

The rapper took to his Instagram Stories shortly after his release to respond to those accusing him of snitching on Young Thug. “Damn people really think I told on my own brother smh,” he wrote. “Show me in the paper work I told on anybody lol, I’m not even fenna entertain any of it, peace and blessings.”

As part of his plea deal, Unfoonk isn’t allowed to contact Thug or any other co-defendants in the indictment until the case has concluded — which is why he had to speak to him through Instagram Story instead of calling him directly.

Young Thug returned to the courtroom last week to continue the RICO trial, following a delay in December when one of his co-defendants was stabbed while in jail.

On December 12, court reporter Meghann Cuniff confirmed that the trial was put on hold until January 2, 2024 while the defendant, Shannon Stillwell, recovered from the attack.

Stillwell, who was arrested alongside Young Thug and 27 others in May 2022, was previously stabbed in July 2022, according to jail officials.

However, of that 28, only six remain as part of the trial following plea deals. As it stands, the trial is expected to last upwards of a year.
