Young Thug Addresses Leaked Jail Call With Boxer Devin Haney’s Wife

Young Thug has cleared the air after footage leaked of him having an intimate conversation with Devin Haney’s wife Leena Sayed while he was in jail.

The phone call, which dates back to July 2022 — two months after Thug was arrested on racketeering charges — features the two of them having an emotional exchange that lasts around 15 minutes.

At one point during the call, Thug tells Sayed — who reportedly married Haney in 2023 and shares a child with the fighter — to move on and “find love,” indicating that they were romantically involved.

The Instagram model then sobs and replies: “Why would you say that? I don’t like anyone but you […] I want you.”

Thugger, who was also dating Mariah The Scientist at the time, becomes emotional himself and tells Sayed that he doesn’t want to “burden” her.

After regaining her composure, Sayed tells the Atlanta rapper that she “loves” him, adding: “Everyone knows this.”

Young Thug, who was recently released from jail after striking a plea deal in his YSL RICO case, addressed the leak on X (formerly Twitter) in a number of posts.

“Them n-ggas don showed they hands, them n-ggas ain’t in… #saytwin,” he wrote. “Man me and twin was talking bout some whole other serious shit, I don’t know y she spoke on loving other people or anything else cause ain giving no fuck bout no hoes or n-ggas I’m the capital P lol that’s my twin and nothing else. Never have never will lol.”

The Punk rapper then appeared to reference his relationship with Mariah: “I can have that lil shit right now if I wanted it, but she been pushing the p harder then n-ggas lol that’s the twin…I got who I want.”

Sayed also reacted to the footage and claimed that it precedes her relationship with Haney: “That video was before I met my bd… I would never talk to Thug or any other man.”

Young Thug was the victim of frequent leaks throughout his time behind bars.

One notable leak was a conversation between him and Mariah The Scientist celebrating Christmas last year.

“What’s up, baby? Merry Christmas,” Mariah said in the call before blowing a kiss in Thug’s direction. “I love you. I miss you and I love you. Thanks for my gifts.”

Thug returned the love and asked, “Them chains heavy?” to which Mariah replied: “They’re heavier than the bracelets for sure. I miss you.” Thug added: “I thought the Cubans were bigger too. They 14 I think.”

“I like it a lot, I’m very appreciative. Thanks babe,” Mariah said. “I miss you. I wish that you could be at home with me. You could put it on me. I miss you.”

The clip ended with Mariah asking: “Daddy, am I your baby?” in a child-like voice, with Thug responding: “Most definitely.”

    1. I’m sick of all this trash. This website, this culture, which is NOT hip-hop, the salaciousness that surrounds everything, the court trials, the reality shows, the music. It’s all TRASH. Aren’t you tired of it? Can’t we move on at some point to SOMETHING? You’ve milked black ignorance dry…find something else. It’s dead.

      1. Black ignorance? So you mean to tell me white women haven’t cheated? Or Indian women? Or are you saying there aren’t other cultures of people going to trial? Go look for the other news dimwit….Oan, the culture has been compromised, there are artists out there still making it about hiphop, so you stay looking at ignorance and talking about it as if you, “Stormcloak”, know what the culture is about hahaha

    2. Kenny Ken…this isn’t culture, this is the ABSENCE of culture. Listen man, I’m not a person who finds joy in bashing hiphop or black culture. These are things that offend me because I LOVE black people and Hip-Hop. But the exaltation of all things ignorant in black culture has poisoned it. The fact that people are afraid to criticize this garbage in fear I of somehow betraying ‘the culture’ has lead to the toxification and destruction of the culture. That’s how I see it. I mean, are we EVER gonna raise the bar?

      1. Hey man thank you for the clarification and I take everything I said back, my apologies, I misunderstood, it’s because there are so many trolls and vultures here trying to attack the culture and I am like you, I LOVE this culture. I found good (and bad) in it, but I’m not here to down it. It is of course some bad in it now, so yes, I am here as a fan to try to raise the bar myself. So since you spoke on it like that with concern, yes I do understand your point. It’s time for us to focus on the stuff like Redman, Nas, etc, people out here living in the culture, putting it exactly where it should be, and still get their money! There’s some people who sold themselves, and I can’t continue to listen to the garbage anymore, some of these people are only here for the buck now. I walk away from the garbage now, I’m not perfect myself but I’m here to try to put attention on the real stuff (believe me, it’s still some out there), but I can’t help but to be concerned with the negativity. Some of the youngsters think that this is what hiphop is. Again, my apologies man!

    3. What is this performative bullshit? This is like a Tubi movie or some shit. Fake crying and all that nonsense conversation.

      1. Man I wouldn’t put it past both of them that this is a publicity stunt, Thug has been generating news since he’s been out lol…trying to get prepared to drop something or get his buzz back
