Young Jeezy recently chopped it up 95.5 WPGC’s Big Tigger while promoting his upcoming fourth LP Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition. During the interview, Jizzle revealed that after he drops TM 103 this December 20, he will not release anymore installments in the Thug Motivation series. He explained that after three albums spanning over a six year period, he’s looking to move on to bigger and better things with his music.
“I think this is the last one [of the Thug Motivation series],” he explained. “That’s why I put it together the way I did, you know. It’s on to the next chapter, the next phase. We did TM 101, which was [the first] Thug Motivation, [sold] 2 milli, changed the game a lil’ bit. I like to call it a classic. Just a lil’ bit though…[then] we did The Inspiration. I didn’t call it [TM] 102, but I think everybody in the streets called it 102 so I had to kind of ride with that. And then of course The Recession, shout out to Barack Obama, so now we’re back to motivating the thugs…[for] 2012, I just wanted to be there for my people.”
Jeezy also spoke about the Chris Robinson-directed documentary A Hustlerz Ambition, which recently premiered in his hometown Atlanta. The Snowman explained that he wanted to give fans an in-depth look into his early life and career, as well show aspiring musicians the kind of drive it takes to achieve stardom.
“[With my documentary], I kind of wanted to take people in my world. I’ve been pretty much a private person, but I wanted people to kinda see some of the things I went through, my adversity, my trials, my hurdles,” he explained. “The documentary’s crazy, Samuel L. Jackson narrated it, so if there’s anything you wanted to know about me, it’s pretty much [spans] from the day I was born until now.”

BREAKING NEWS FROM THE FUTURE:
Young Jeezy has announced he is making a new album called Thug Motivation 4. This comes almost a year after his announcement that he was not making another Thug Motivation album.
Bitch please… trilogies are out of style. “4 of everything” is the trend now.
only if it’s a big hit. like lil wayne whoring himself out with Carter 5 & 6. so we’ll see
to bad this will be one of jeezy worst albums what ive heard so far isnt all that, the direction he was going when the album was originally sposd to come out was good with trap or die 2 then he started puttin out alll othose weak mixtapes and the album got pushed back,i know the pushback wasnt his fault but the delay made him end up with a bad end product! hopefully after this he can bounce back to better quality songs
There’s only been 4 tracks released (or leaked) from his album of the 14, which still leaves 10 more tracks. This isn’t including the bonus tracks, cuz those songs r out but that’s just the deluxe edition. So maybe ull change ur mind after u listen through the whole thing. I feel like it’s a typical Jeezy album, none of them r really weak and as a Jeezy fan if u like this previous albums I cant see why u wouldnt like this one. Respect ur opinion tho.
Now he wants to talk wit confidence since he finally dropping this trash after four years get the hell out of here jeezy!
You do know that its up to the label to decide when his project gets released, right? Not jeezy…and its been 3 years but guess what sometimes its good to take a break from the game and give the fans an opportunity to miss u and be more anticipated for ur next album
hey jeezy, its not 2005, nobody cares anymore.
But in 2005 you were fuckin with Jeezy, right? Cuz he was hot in 2005? And Im sure your on the YMCMB train cuz their the hottest in the game right? And as soon as their flame burns out, bet ur gna hop off their train and jump on the next hottest thing. SMH. First they love u then they hate u then they love u again
(shaking my head)
I don’t think he knows he’s wack now. No one actually pays him mind cause he’s making damn near queer music. He sounds like Donovan McNabb damn near…just out of touch with reality and himself.
You still count money and all so that’s cool. Just stop making music. Please.
Was gonna give u a rebuttal til since I read ur post first, then noticed last that ur name was Mr. Flamboyant. Thanks for saving me energy
who? lmao
Rick Ross ended his career. Ross ended Freddie Gibbs career. Ross ended 50 Cunts career.
Rozay is da king of da South. he da boss. swag
And seizures are gonna end Ross’s career. Wait, my bad. I meant William Leonard Roberts II.
The Recession was my favorite Jeezy album. I listen to real hip hop in terms of lyrics and what not, and Jeezy aint the most lyrical dude but you don’t always have to listen to the most lyrical shit to appreciate hip hop. I like to switch it up and at the end of the day, Jeezy makes good music and has a lot of passion in his heart for music.
This isn’t news. If you’re having trouble getting interviews, go in the direction of quality over quantity of sales and search out those who can rap…change direction for the website…make it a go-to for real rap.
At the moment it’s coming off as a desperate also-ran.
Thing is, quality is subjective. Just cause you like a lyrical style of rap that doesn’t necessarily sell doesn’t mean that it has more “quality” than the more popular music.
This site deals with the hip-hop industry. “Industry” itself implies that business is taking place. If the music doesn’t sell, it’s not relevant.

REAL RAP
I agree with stoppin the Thug MOtivation serious.. I think jeezy will go get advice for nas, T.i about being a lyricist and try to improve his MC skills… I would really respect that even if it fails i would know he tried…
Agreed
nigrooooo plz you know damn well aint no one checking for the series no more, 102 was kinda meh, 101 was the classic. You had your lil gangsta head band on, all black, lil snowman shirts. but naw you kinda fat and dress preppy. You have to understand the rap game is a game. you should of stayed with that “trap” image until you made a permanent spot in the game(look what Ross is doing with “mafia style music”) that’s his lil shlt that gets him spins….So yeah if you gon do this thug motivation shit atlease go hard
Shut yo ass up juwanna mann.
its funny that the internet hate jeezy but the streets love him lmfao u internet clowns and this bitch below me need to stop hating on jeezy cause he changed his clothes foh lol
How you know what the streets love? Your pussy ass probably only see streets when you walking on em headed to the bus station.
and jeezy finished but he got 3 of songs on the top ten songs of the month and about to have for by the end of the week fuck all the hate real shit
If he wait another 4 years to drop the next one it might be the last album period.
If cuz wasn’t fucking wit Gay Z old ass, all you iThugs would be hating on him. Shut the fuck up and wipe ya mouth.
jeezy still that nigga fame is good record
Classic album. Been bumping it all day.
