Young Greatness Tries To Tell Em Again On New Mixtape

Young Greatness returns with his I Tried To Tell Em 2 mixtape.

The follow-up to last year’s project is made up of 13 tracks and includes the singles “Moolah” and “Ball.” Akon appears on “Celebration.”

Production comes from Jazze Pha, Haz Futcha and Dun Deal.

In April, Young Greatness spoke with HipHopDX about the success of “Moolah,” a cut from last year’s I Tried To Tell Em mixtape.

“To be honest with you, ‘Moolah’ has been going so fast, to where the growth of the record has been beating our plans,” he said. “So now it’s like our plans are trying to catch up to the growth of the record because everyday something changes. Every morning, I wake up and something changes.”

The New Orleans rapper is set to appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert July 11.

    1. Hey Victoria. I think you meant to type “M!xt@pe” in the headline, since you know, us commenters are banned from typing the actual word. -____-

      1. Okay, one, you are an imposter and not Victoria Hernandez. She sometimes actually replies in the comments, but keeps ducking mine for some reason. Two, if your customer complains about something, then it needs to be addressed in a professional manner and not resort to insults and name-calling. That is not professional. But I guess since we’re on a hip hop website, it’s okay to do that. (shrug) Three, whether others like it or not, I will keep bringing this up until I get a real reply from one of the actual DX staff members, and not imposters, about why certain regular words are banned like “m!xt@pe” “cl0ne” “r@pe” and j€w€ls”. Which, you have to admit, is fuckin’ stupid. And lastly, if this comment gets deleted, then it just shows more unprofessionalism from the DX staff, as it shows they don’t care about their customers and won’t address such silly matters at hand. So go ahead, DX, make your move. Either grow a pair and reply, or act like cowards and delete my comment.

      2. Man pipe down with all that pretentious as* wannabe Harvard graduate bullsh*t. N*gga you dont pay my bills. You not my man. My man slaps the sh*t outta me if I don’t have his dinner hot on the table. My man apologizes and fu*ks me raw dog style from the back while pulling my hair. You also not my boss neither. So unless you my boss or my man, you ain’t gonna sit up in here and tell me what to do. End of discussion.
