Young Buck Finally Gets Released from G-Unit Records?

It seems Young Buck’s tumultuous relationship with 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records has come to an end. According to sources from VladTV, the Nashville, Tennessee rapper will soon announce that he has officially been released from his contract with the label, an obligation which has kept him from releasing new material since being kicked out 50’s group three years ago.

On top of said sources, Buck also noted that he had an announcement coming via Twitter.

If this turns out to be true, there is some cause to celebrate on his part. In various interviews, Buck established that 50 was trying to ruin his career, citing his contract as his weakness.

“[He wants] to pretty much destroy my life from a silent-sided way of doing things. That’s his angle, and my contracts allow him to be able to do that,” he told the Nashville Scene earlier this year.

Now, Young Buck is focusing on the release of his latest project, The Rehab

o, and make sure you actually finish the job unlike the last fool who managed to fuck up with nine shots!

    3. alternatively, just snuff that nigga hard, oooorrr, provoke him to punch dr dre, then stab him with a butter knife!

    4. YOUNG BUCK NIGGGAAAA OUT

    5. Too bad he has been releasing any mixtapes, or even anything that would be worthy to be on my playlist. He is no longer relevant, sorry Buck but you shoulda jumped ship before 50 brought you and the rest of G-unit down with him. Starting all those worthless beefs what a fool, and you are more of a fool for following him.

    6. thats a good look for buck,,, now i think buck is gonna bounce back,,, nah not as a platinum rapper but in a better position than he is in now,,, there is a high possibility he’ll sign with young money,,, since baby is gearing for rap domination,,,,, young buck n nicki menage will have good chemistry better than she n drake believe that….but guess wat baby my fuck him in a deal jus like 50,,, he’s jus gonna get tha chance to drop some hot shit

    7. Buck will come back in no time, if you listen to those diss songs to 50 hes still spittin fire. he got that dirty south heat and i wouldnt be suprised if you see him drop a hot first single real soon now that he isn’t tied down by the GUnit. I would personally like to see him get signed to Aftermath/Grand Hustle and Interscope, i dont know if that would ever happen but that would definatly be the best positioon for him. working with t.i. and production from dr dre. and still could have collabos with eminem and so on but it might be too close 50 to work out that deal, then again game and 50 are still signed to aftermath at the same timje despite the beef they had.

    8. Buck already signed to cash money before he signed wit Gunit and they never put his shit out until he went to gunit records so its stupid for him to go back to them young money is garbage they suck ass without drake they nothin so good fuck to buck tho

      1. hey dude you dont know what ya talkin bout the young buck dude is right buck was signed to cash money in tha past cash money signed him when he was 14 then he went to utp with juve then g-unit and now he signed to real talk and tha rehab cd is ight not as good as his other cds but he just comin back into the game again so his nxt cd will be kill cashville go hard i should know i live hur ya dig get em buck i got ya back bruh and fck haters dont care what they gotta say buck is the realest rapper out there and chip tha ripper and bck needa make a song together they both are in the top 10 fo sho

    9. FINALLY!!! young buck is in the top ten rappers alive. also, in my opinion, he’s the realest one doing gangsta rap. Buck’s bout to be huge again.

      1. miss me with whatever glue you sniffin on. Buck was below average lyrically anyways. He should have invested some of that G-Unit cash, but you know how rappers do…

    10. Do you think 50 felt bad for Buck over the tax invasion shit or maybe Dre & Shady had a word with him about being a arrogant ignortant prick… I can’t honestly see Buck singing with CM or YM I think he will try an get a certified deal with a solid lable like Atlantic, Epic or Sony if he does go with a rapper I hope it’s either with Jeezy or TIP!

    11. Let’s be real. Nobody lets somebody out of their contract unless there is some financial benefit to the situation. That’s the whole purpose of getting them signed anyway.

So it’s likely that somebody either bought Buck out of his contract, or Buck worked out a situation with 50 where he can either compensate or commit to some future obligations that would secure his release from G UNIT.

Either way, THERE IS NO DEMAND for Young Buck in 2010/2011!

These swagged out metrosexual teens don’t give a flying fuck about Buck, and can barely remember him for something other than his “Shorty Wanna Ride’ track and ‘Let ‘Em In’, which was a collabo with 50.

Although I truly feel if Taz, his former manager, didn’t have to go on the run from the Feds, then Buck wouldn’t be in the situation he’s in now.

    12. The contract has probably thrown out in bankruptcy court. If Buck’s lawyer was any good he would have gotten Buck out of that contract at that point.

I think Buck got a lawyer and filed for bankruptcy before the IRS raided his house. That would explain why Buck got to keep his house and his car.

    13. I am gald to hear this, cause Gunit & it’s crew all together don’t have the talent of Young Buck. I have all his albums, plus the mixtapes, & the talent this man has, he should be signed by some label & marketed as he is better than most of the so called mainstream rappers out there, & shame on 50Cent for trying to ruin his career. Hopefully, we can get new content after Rehab soon.

    14. buck wont even sell 1k first week! he has no one following him and is finished.. he tried to do a petition to get him releaed on twitter n 6 people signed hahahahaha its over disloyal niga

banks alway been the best anyway YOUNG BUCK “any other time i woulda asked banks to rhyme” do it myself by buck.. lloyd banks is the PLK HFM2 nov 23

      1. Correction: Buck says – “any other time I woulda asked banks to RIDE”…I can tell ur on the unit’s dick cuz of how much u hate buck but how much u act like a groupie towards banks. And I bet u were repping buck hard when he was in the unit. But 50 stands gotta go with 50, and if buck and cool with 50, then 50s stans aint cool with buck. SMH

      2. When you learn about real nigga shit, youll learn that only a real nigga would release his contract and leave it be. You aint gotta like Buck famo but uncuff Banks nuts, or are you aimin when he pisses!

    15. Shout out to club L A X in Nashville… My fam been reppin for my nigga Buck. Aye Buck, I know you be on DX homie, so tell my nigga DJ whats up and come see us up in Milwaukee my nigga. Thats a Gangstas request G…You gonna be heavy in the streets and let 50 go away with the current my nigga. BACK2BIDNESS!!!!!
