YK Osiris has issued another round of apologies regarding his recent incident with Sukihana — in which he forced himself on the rapper in public — and he wants his friends and family to know that he’s working on being “a better person.”

On Friday (June 16), the “Worth It” singer took to his Instagram Story to apologize to his supporters and loved ones. According to him, he wants to focus on his “purpose,” which is making music.

“I apologize to my family and my supporters. I keep letting y’all down. I just want to be a better person and focus on my purpose, and that’s music. I love y’all so much fr,” he wrote. “I lost everything. My mind, my family, my love for music, I just need help fr.”

He also hinted that there could be new music on the way, adding that that he’s “got a gift” for fans being that he’s “been bullshitting these past years.” Check out his posts below.

This situation started after a video circulated online Wednesday (June 14), where YK Osiris was seen forcing a kiss with Sukihana.

The Wolf Pussy rapper looked visibly shocked and uncomfortable as the young crooner, who was standing behind her, clasped her head and forced his tongue down her throat as she commented on a game of basketball alongside Lil Duval, Funny Marco, and Buster Scher.

YK Osiris’ behavior was widely condemned on social media and led to allegations of sexual assault.

Shortly thereafter, YK Osiris took to Instagram to apologize to the rapper/reality TV star, saying he “misread the moment” and is “embarrassed” by his actions.

“I want to publicly offer my sincerest apology to Sukihana. In an attempt to be playful, I misread the moment and violated Sukihana’s boundaries. I understand the importance of consent, and I am embarrassed by my behavior,” he said on IG at the time.

Although Sukihana has since accepted YK Osiris’ apology, her mother was singing a completely different tune.

In an Instagram post around the same time, Lori Lee called YK Osiris out for his “fake ass apology” and let him know there’d be smoke if they ever run into each other in person.
