YFN Lucci’s Alleged Role In Felony Murder Case Revealed As Bond Is Denied

YFN Lucci appeared virtually at his first-appearance hearing in Fulton County Magistrate Court on Thursday (January 14). The 29-year-old rapper, born Rayshawn Bennett, was taken into custody earlier this week on multiple charges for his alleged role in the murder of 28-year-old James Adams.

According to the arrest warrant obtained by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Lucci was allegedly behind the wheel of the vehicle used in the drive-by that claimed one of his passengers’ life.

On the night of December 10, 2020, Lucci and “three other criminal street gang members” reportedly drove to an area “dominated by a rival gang” while two people in the car opened fire with assault-style rifles. Adams was struck in the head by return gunfire and later succumbed to his injuries at Grady Hospital.

In a video recording obtained by investigators, Adams reportedly said, “We’re fitting to fuck this city up, man!” right before the shooting.

The warrant claims Lucci drove to the 900 block of Dimmock Street about 5:15 p.m. local time and pulled onto a shoulder. Adams and 23-year-old Ra’von Boyd, who was seated in the front seat, then started spraying bullets.

Another victim, 32-year-old victim Kevin Wright, was struck in the abdomen and dropped off at a nearby fire station seeking medical assistance — he survived.

YFN Lucci Reportedly Wanted By Atlanta Police On Multiple Charges — Including Felony Murder

The 911 call alerting authorities to the shooting was released earlier this week and revealed Adams was “manually ejected” from the car and left in a nearby street to die. Police discovered him lying in the street when they arrived.

Boyd, one of the alleged shooters in Lucci’s car, was recently arrested in Miami along with 17-year-old Leroy Pitts, but Pitts’ role in the shooting hasn’t been determined. Lucci is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He remains in Fulton County Jail without bond.

    1. So he’s charged for his co-conspirators getting shot, lol. This is hilarious. Basically the other dude who survived snitched and said he was driving the car. Now kids, this is an actual example of snitching, not that other lame shit you mistake it for like the Meg and Tory situation.

      1. Y’all got this game all the way fucked up!!! A rat is someone who gets caught doing dirt with you or against you and to save their own case, they offer to testify against you. We don’t know if the guy that got shot in the stomach is a bystander. He could be in the game and still be a bystander. If both sides was randomly having a shootout (isn’t the case, Lucci and his people went hunting) and one of them get questioned and he gives up names then…yes, that is snitching. If ol’ buddy was shooting back while defending himself…they only way his self-defense claim will take president is if they establish he was shot at by some aggressors, he has to acknowledge the aggressors. That’s not snitching. This is why all this shit is the wild wild west now. Everybody got these fucked up/warped rules and nobody is following the real rules. If people was following the rules there wouldn’t be none of this shit because…you stay off my yard and I won’t come to your block

What part of rival gang am I mixing up? These were all street dudes doing dirt against each other. One got shot, and he snitched. Outside of taking the stand against someone you did dirt with, it’s kind of the definition of snitching if you’re going around claiming that street code nonsense.

        2. How you gonna call yourself old school when its very obvious you are a youngn? Lol, you’re spitting out this new school logic, sounds like you got it from a 21 savage song lol. For anyone who really is old school they would know that snitching is the act of telling on someone, for example if someone gets shot and the sweet little old lady across the street saw it and tells police about then she is a snitch, point blank, now unfortunately the old lady has to get taught not to run her mouth to the police anymore and also gotta make sure she doesn’t take the stand later on to testify against you, she a grandma but still is clearly a snitch. No one is gonna say “oh she’s cool cause she wasn’t involved so guess I gotta take this L.” That’s the old school way not this other fake cartoon shit you’re talking. This new theory you have is made up by people who wanna be able to snitch without any repercussions.

    2. Even if I’m Lucci and dont have millions. Let’s say I have 800-900 grand cash in the bank, why the fuck would I do a drive-by with some homies? Not only risking your life for no possible gain, but now all that money goes to lawyers. So when you go to prison, none of your family gets a dime, all the money gone. Fuck wrong with this dude?
