Xzibit has shared a “crazy” story from his days running around with Big Pun — one that involves guns, cops and a bullet-riddled tour bus.

Sitting down for a chat with Bootleg Kev, X, who has a tattoo of the late rapper, recalled a particularly wild memory of being on the road with Pun.

“We went out on this first promo tour together. We had two buses. I think we were on the East Coast working our way to Detroit or Flint,” he said. “Their bus breaks down and Pun has his family with him so he’s like, ‘Let me get on the bus.’ So they’re all on my bus.

“I knew that night was gonna be crazy but I didn’t know at the beginning of the day how crazy it was gonna get. So they’re trying to get to the hotel to get checked in ’cause they don’t wanna be on our bus anymore ’cause they feel like they’re impeding.

“They called a car and this old school n-gga with a Jheri curl jumps out, he pulled up in a limousine. He gets out with an attitude and it’s like watching a silent movie — you could tell by the body language that he didn’t like what was happening.

“He was like, ‘All you muthafuckas can’t get in my car!’ The whole Terror Squad’s with [Pun]. I see the dude throw his hands up and I’m like, ‘Oh, this not gonna end good!’ And all the Terror Squad n-ggas come and start chasing this n-gga round the car. It’s like the best shit ever [laughs].”

Xzibit’s story then skips to later that night during the concert: “There’s a guy named Boobie the Boxer that’s a part of TS, he was on stage with Pun. Boobie’s addressing something in the front row, they’re having another silent movie [laughs].

“Then somebody throws something and now there’s a fight, and the fight’s coming on stage. And somebody from the team pulls out a gun and fires it right into the air. Bow! This n-gga pulled it out of a briefcase in the middle of the stage!”

After fans fled the venue in a panic, X and co. managed to get back to their bus in one piece, only to discover the cops had arrived.

“[The shooter] throws the muthafucking [gun] in the dumpster but there’s no trash in the dumpster so [you hear clanking],” he recalled. “The [cops] walk right up to it and shine the flashlight on it like, ‘Who threw it?’ So everybody’s in cuffs.”

The former Pimp My Ride host and his crew were later allowed to walk free and made it back to their hotel, where they discovered a group of people from the concert “looking for Terror Squad.”

“So now we gotta run this covert operation to get everybody on the bus and get [out of there],” he continued. “I mean, they shot the buses up and everything. It was crazy. There was never a dull moment [laughs].”
