Wiz Khalifaâs Kush & Orange Juice 2, the follow-up to his classic 2010 mixtape, has seemingly gotten a release date.
According to a post from the NFR Podcast, the project is expected to arrive on April 18. Their post included artwork that Wiz shared when he first discussed the album last year, which was speculated to be the official cover but is not confirmed.
Itâs also to be noted that Wiz himself has not yet confirmed the date on social media, nor in his recent vlogs.
Should it land on April 18 as reported, it will commemorate the original tapeâs 15th anniversary, as it dropped on April 14, 2010.

He also referred to it as a âclassicâ and revealed he worked with legendary producers like DJ Quik and Juicy J on the project, as well as frequent collaborators Ty Dolla $ign and Problem (a.k.a. Jason Martin).
Kush & Orange Juice helped solidify Wizâs entry into the Hip Hop sphere, building a loyal fan-base around the mesh between marijuana culture and fun-loving, laid-back music.
The project also proved pivotal in creating long-lasting relationships with industry peers. Contributions from Curren$y and Big K.R.I.T. would continue to serve Wiz over the next decade, leading to touring and creating new music together.
On Kush & OJâs 10th birthday in 2020, K.R.I.T. reflected on the underground success of the trioâs song âGlass Houseâ and explained how it landed on the mixtape.

ââGlass Houseâ is a crowd favorite,â he said in a press release. âWe created a moment with that record, know what Iâm saying? 2010, SXSW. It happened so organically and then Wiz reached out like, âYo I wanna put this on Kush & Orange Juice,â and that was my first introduction to a lot of his fan base.
âItâs been crazy since then â between going on tour and performing it every time we hit the stage together,â he added. âThatâs what timeless music is all about. Because now, itâs 2020, the 10 year anniversary and that record still goes up you feel me?â
