With Nicki Minaj finding success on the charts Azalea Banks and Iggy Azalea’s careers gaining momentum, the title of best female emcee in the game is still up for grabs. Now, Wiz Khalifa weighs in on the subject and throws Taylor Gang’s own Lola Monroe into the ring.
In a recent interview with VladTV, Wiz explained by the First Lady of Taylor Gang’s talent eclipses that of her femcee peers. He said that her story as an Ethiopian transplant to Washington D.C. gives her an edge on the competition and a more compelling back-story.
“Lola Monroe, she’s the First Lady of Taylor Gang, she’s the only chick that raps in Taylor Gang,” he explained. “She’s iller than any female artist I’ve ever heard in my life. She’s so much better than any female…just her lyrical ability. I know a lot of people say that shit, but she’s from D.C., and nobody’s heard that story before…from a female. You’ve heard all these other stories and all this other shit, but you have heard her’s yet, so I feel she’s different, she’s better.”

When B.I.G. Said Kim was queen, people respected it because he was B.I.G. and was amazing. Wiz has nothing on B.I.G. He raps about the same things and sounds the same on every song. For Lola being the best, I never see her on any chart in the top 10 or even the top 20. The fact that he has the guts to even compare Lola to Lil’ Kim, Foxy Brown, Shawnna, Remy Ma, Lauyrn Hill, MC Lyte, Missy Elliott, or Trina is just amazing.
