Every since their appearances on the 2005 BET Awards show and Dave Chappelle‘s film Block Party, fans have anticipated the reunion of the legendary Fugees crew. Their unprecedented album, The Score, became an instant classic in 1996 but since its release only solo projects have come from the group’s members.
In late 2005, the group released the single “Take It Easy” with rumored album No Heavy in the works for a 2007 release however; fans are now disappointed to find that the reunion project will never happen.
“[It’s] straight dead. You know, unfortunately Miss Hill, she got some things she needs to deal with. I wish her the best, but life goes on,” states Fugees member, Pras.
Apparently, Lauryn Hill has been allegedly delaying the reunion and has now ultimately removed any possibility of another group project.
