50 Cent is getting tired of allegations that he took part in the assault of Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond 14-year old son. The Jamaica Queens native is threatening to sue over the accusations.
The mother of the teenager, Cynthia Reed, claim that 50 seen the attack and allowed it to continue. The rapper claims that he wasn’t even in New York when the incident happened. 50‘s attorney, Benjamin Brafman, told the NY Post that he is madden by the recent statements being made about his client and goes on to say that they can prove the rapper was not in the area.
“We can prove beyond question that 50 was not even in New York state at the time of the incident. And unless there is a complete retraction and apology from Mr Lichtman, it is our intention to sue him for defamation.”
Jeffrey Lichtman, the attorney for the Rosemond family, responded to the statement made by Brafman.
“I retract nothing. I believe, in good faith that the statement about 50 Cent’s involvement is credible and accurate and will be fully vindicated at trial. If Brafman and his client want to sue me, I say bring it on.”
