Waka Flocka Flame says it’s okay to ask for handouts, but not in the way you might think. The “No Hands” rapper took to Instagram on Thursday (June 9) to encourage young artists to ask for help when they need it, just as long as that help isn’t always money.
“It’s cool if you’re gonna ask somebody for something with your hand out, because sometimes if you put your hand out it don’t gotta mean me giving you money. It could be me giving you advice. So it could create power in your hand so when your hand go out next time they’re gonna be a little heavier when you ask. I think giving people clarity and giving people some game and pointers is free, you shouldn’t charge a n-gga for that in my opinion.”
He continued, “So always ask your question. Always put your hand out but don’t put your hand out like a beggar, put your hand out like a person that wanna be motivated and elevated and uplift. That’s what a motherfucker respect at the end of the day. Duality is everything because we all once was broke. Once all was stuck and couldn’t get to the next level or even capable or educated enough to even know how to get to the next level, so always humble yourself. Don’t let that money overpower your thoughts my dog.”
The latest wisdom dropped by the former Brick Squad CEO comes after Rick Ross said those begging for any sort of handout need a reality check.
“I already know how it go,” Rozay said in a video. “That’s why I go hard because I know how it go. You could be in a room full of the wealthiest muthafuckas in the world and tell them, ‘I have nothing, I’m hungry.’ They’re going to look at you and say, ‘Well what the fuck are you doing standing next to me begging? Why the fuck aren’t you working?’”

He continued, “‘What the fuck have you established, what have you done with yourself since the fucking beginning of time? Where’s your brother, where’s your mother, where’s your father, where’s your kinfolk, you don’t have any friends? You don’t have anything to establish yourself or worth something in anyone’s life?’ That’s what they’re going to tell you. If you think begging is going to get you something, you fucked up.”
Waka Flocka commented on the post with a simple question.
“But where’s the morality?” Waka asked.
However, Waka did come after Joe Budden when the podcast host said New York City strip clubs need better representation.
“NY strip clubs, not only are you not hiring Black women, but you’re purposely hiring the SAME exact girl,” Joe wrote on Instagram. “Your promoter having a type is gonna lose y’all money this Summer.. this is disgusting (not the girls, the optics).”
Waka merely replied, “Man [shut] yo soft ass up.”
There’s a difference between a hand out and hand up! The welfare system is purposely built and kept in place as a hand out, intended to create as many government dependents as possible. A dependent population is a subdued population that won’t turn on the Gov so long as they get their hand outs. The leftist welfare states encourage single motherhood, kicking the men out on purpose, punishing two parent households, and incetivizing not working or progressing in life. I think the biggest detriment to poor communities is single parent households. Kids are far better off with two parents. Hars to raise multiple children when you don’t have time to go to work due to that circumstance. I’ve read stats that say kids growing up in single parent housholds are 10x more likely to drop out of school, 15x more likely to end up in prison. Broken homes create generational failures.
