During Gucci Mane’s most recent Twitter tirade, Waka Flocka Flame, the rapper’s former right-hand man offered few words in response, even after he was personally called out during Gucci’s rant. Now, the week following Gucci’s alleged social media breakdown and Waka is finally sharing his take on the situation.
While speaking with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” the Triple F Life rapper expressed his disbelief at Gucci’s erratic behavior and suggested that he seek medical attention. Waka continued to separate himself from Gucci, who he referred to as an “accidental murderer,” as he revealed that he has no interest in what happens to the rapper.
“Gucci lost his noodles, man,” said Waka when asked about an altercation between Gucci and another man last week. “People just think he’s gangster but he really needs medical attention. That guy lost his noodles. Nah, I ain’t concerned, I don’t care nothin’ about him. We ain’t never gonna be friends, ever. As long as the Earth green, it’s over…Desperate people do desperate things.”
Waka also addressed those who believe he’s been disloyal to Gucci and suggested that the Trap House III rapper may have become envious of his growing success.
“People like, ‘Oh Waka disloyal.’ I’m like, ‘How’…When I started going on tours. I started buying different cars. I’m not leasing nothing. I started buying different jewelry. Your conversation change with me now,” Waka explained. “You can’t lie no more. You know what I’m saying? It’s facts…When I come around I get a little different attention than you. I be seeing that mess with his ego. But I ain’t think it would go to that level, like cyberspace. That’s crazy.”
According to Waka, despite Gucci’s attempts to sell his contract for $1 million, the rapper likely has no real desire to hand over the contract since he believes Gucci’s surviving off money gained from his career.
“He survivin’ off that money,” Waka revealed. “I don’t blame him. He ain’t tryna get rid of that little contract. I want him to eat though, I don’t wanna be out here lookin’ like a bum.”
Although Gucci has taken aim at Waka several times on Twitter, he took many off guard when he targeted Nicki Minaj, Tyga, 2 Chainz, and a number of other artists via Twitter last week. Shortly after his Twitter rant, a man claiming to be Gucci’s brother came forward with news that the rapper’s account was allegedly hacked.
Most recently, Gucci Mane was arrested in Atlanta after an altercation with police on September 14. He was reportedly taken to a hospital following the arrest, where he now remains.
