Usher and Beyonce are making “Love In This Club” over. No, Jigga and Usher are not beefing, B is only a guest on the remix to Usher’s single.
Lil Wayne and Plies are also on the track and Usher had nothing but praises for all who appeared on the remix.
“The remix to ‘Love in This Club’ features the queen and … one of the illest,” he told MTV recently, giving Beyonce a throne.
Wayne, pound for pound, is one of the illest in the game, and
I wanted it to be something that would be a surprise, be a shock. Have
shock value. That’s what the remix is all about. ‘Damn, did you hear
the remix? It’s crazier than the original. I like it more.’ I just
think it’s great. Plies actually did a verse on it as well. He came
with it. Everybody basically did their thing, and I am very happy that
I was able to put that one in.”
This is not an official video single as of yet and plans are scheduled to release “Moving Mountains” as the sequel to the “Love in this Club” vid. The remix and alternate versions are still giving songwriting and publishing credits to Polow and Young Jeezy on the album’s inserts, although neither are involved.
Usher’s latest album, Here I Stand is out today, May 27. This album also features an appearance from Jay-Z and beats by Polow Da Don, Will.i.am and J.R. Rotem.
