Usher is finally Coming Home with his new album, days in advance of his performance at the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show.

The 20-track project features the previously-released singles “Good Good” with 21 Savage and Summer Walker; “Ruin” with Pheelz, “Risk It All” with H.E.R., and the “Usher Remix” of Jung Kook’s “Standing Next to You.”

The project is being released via a partnership between mega and gamma. The former is a new record label founded by veteran music executive L.A. Reid, and Usher has said publicly that he has “ownership” in the business.

Coming Home is the first release from mega. Reid has been involved in Usher’s career from the beginning, signing the singer to LaFace Records when he was just 14.

Coming Home is an ode to going back to your roots, whatever or wherever that may be,” he said. “I’m Coming Home to where I’m comfortable in being exactly who I am right now. My hope is that you identify with the new album no matter where you are or what you’re going through, too.”

“Usher’s latest album, Coming Home, is a testament to his artistry and evolution as a musician,” Reid added. “With each track, he invites listeners on a journey of self-discovery and reflection.”

Usher’s next big move is, of course, his Super Bowl performance at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada on Sunday (February 11), where the San Francisco 49ers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs,

Last fall, it was reported that the 15-minute-long show will feature elements of Atlanta’s strip club culture.

The Confessions crooner will reportedly incorporate the dancers in a “tasteful” way given the younger viewers who will be tuning in. A roller skating routine is also expected to be part of the show, adding more ATL flavor to the spectacle.

“Usher plans on having… pole dancers — dressed in a tasteful manner, of course as well as dancers on roller skates,” a source said at the time. “He is definitely keeping in mind that his younger fans will be watching.

Beyoncé, Rihanna, Dr. Dre, Prince and Michael Jackson have all made memorable moments and now that Usher is taking the stage he wants to do something different, unforgettable and over-the-top.”
