As previously reported, The Game missed a show in New Zealand (and Australia as well) for the Roc Tha Block Tour.
The show, which has gone through problems such as delays due to Akon’s visa difficulties, featured a huge blow when Game inexplicably pulled out as one of the headlining acts. The other artists had to play extended sets to make up for it.
Well, apparently it wasn’t so inexplicable as it has been reported that Game is sick with an “unknown illness.”
The rapper missed two other dates, Thursday August 30 in Adelaide, Australia and August 31 in Sidney Australia.
“Venue officials notified concert-goers that the rapper was feeling unwell and would not be performing,” according to AHH. “Audiences were offered full ticket refunds at the door. I would assume
that the reason for The Game’s absence at the Auckland stopover was
because he had not recovered from whatever illness he was suffering
from on the previous two dates.”
Representatives for Game did not comment on the matter.
