Universal: “No Plans” For “Straight Outta Compton” Sequel Yet

    Straight Outta Compton has done big numbers since hitting theaters a few weeks ago and talk of a sequel had already reportedly begun.

    According to Entertainment Weekly though, the figurative movie charting the rise of Death Row RecordsDogg Pound’s Daz Dillenger, Tupac and Snoop Dogg is not currently in the works. A spokesperson for the company says, “At this time there are no plans for a Straight Outta Compton sequel.”

    Dogg Pound For Life was the rumored title of the original film’s sequel. Curtis Young, the son of Dr. Dre, was rumored play the role of his father.

    2. I would love to see a death row movie, maybe not call it dogg pounds for life, but call it the death row saga or just simply the row. I’d love to watch the rise and fall of Suge with death row, east coast vs west coast beef. Snoop’s depature, what got Pac to ultimately sign with death row and how that affected everybody.

      I think it will be an interesting movie but they should take their time on it and don’t rush it and bring back the dude that played Dr Dre to continue playing him and have Cube’s son cameo in a way and just share stores on the development of hit ’em up and how Snoop felt about the diss.
