Tyrese was also joined by another of his Fast & Furious co-stars in Michelle Rodriguez, as well as Snoop Dogg who is an executive producer on 1992.

The 45-year-old paid tribute to those who supported him at the premiere on his Instagram.

He said: “I won’t be named dropping today some people don’t even need the name dropped…. so I’m gonna go about this very very differently and tell you last night I was an emotional wreck because one thing about me and this is not pride or ego my relationships and my friendships with some of the most powerful and significant people out.

“There are not abused don’t obligate them to anything. There is no manipulation or trying to force anyone to show up for me for anything. I’ve always been very very, very, very independent and self-sufficient , I’ll fall flat on my face. I’ll embarrass myself.

“I don’t need help and I don’t obligate anyone to show up for my dreams so you could imagine everyone’s busy everyone’s kids and family and traveling and respectfully most of the most significant people I know are always gone always traveling always got a lot going on, so as much as we’d like to see each other connect it doesn’t happen as often as we want to these Giants to show up for my little movie a.k.a. our little movie in @1992movie.”

Tyrese added: “I don’t think you guys will ever understand how FULL my heart was and how truly truly GRATEFUL I am [ and was ] that they showed for my momma’s baby boy….. I am humbled and grateful beyond words…….”
