Twitter Divided After Lil Xan Drops N-Word During Food Court Rant

Lil Xan went on a food court tirade at an Indianapolis mall earlier this week. During his rant, he let the N-word slip out.

“I’m rich nigga, I’m rich,” he screamed in a video. “You broke ass bitch!”

Naturally, Twitter has weighed in on Xan’s seemingly careless move. While many people agree Xan absolutely shouldn’t have used the word, others believe it’s his right to say what he wants to say — regardless of any consequences.

Xan — whose real name is Diego Leanos — was born in Redlands, California in 1996 and identifies as Latino. But with his light complexion, it’s not a stretch to assume he’s white.

Either way, people are calling for him to be “jumped” and waiting to see how Xan will justify this latest stunt.

Check out some of the reactions below.

        1. Xan was raised in Redlands, California, super soft place with low low crime where the median income is 58K a year . People with $. When you Grown in the Bronx, forest projects and South Gate, California where you grow up with people with color, that becomes all you know is speaking that “slang”. Not an excuse, its just FACTS!

    1. I absolutely despise Lil Xan and his “music,” but dude is Latino, he can say it all day long. I never once heard anyone give BReal any flack for it. Non issue.

      1. What an uncivilized coward, only big babies threaten violence over a word. You’re not tough, you’re an undereducated moron.

        1. The word you looking is uneducated you tan fxck, Indians are racist Asians are racist and Arabs are racist. I’m not even trying to sound tough I will fuck up one you tan fxcks if you get in your head that we’re one people, we’re not.

      2. You idiot, do you really think that back in the day where it was freely used as an offensive comment by white people or today in modern time racism, that they actually distinguished what your racial background is before calling you that, like hey this guy is dark but he’s actually from india so don’t use that word on him, ridiculous

    2. Say it louder mann. People are worried about the wrong thing. So worried about everyone else, so quick to get mad at the world but won’t point out their own flaws.

    3. I’m a white hip hop/rap loving dude and I come from the old skool and respectthe culture… I rap along but always replace the N word with ‘brother’ or something… Problem is these Lil Bitches of today’s BS rap have no respect for what hip hop really is and just believe it’sall aboutbeing fake gangstas and flashing your money etc….. I mean look at the state of this Xan, he looks like a 14 yo emo chick… WTF went wrong with rap!!!!

    4. He’s been listening to all his favourite rappers too much….

Just copying sounds people make or say without considering any meaning….

    5. Redlands, CA is a nice small town in SoCal with mainly cool people- please don’t associate this loser fuck with Redlands please, we ain’t want him.

    6. Why is it that every light skinned rapper in the game is never white. They did an ancestry test where they are 5% Mexican or African and now claim that as their race.

    7. ive never understood why fat joe and big pun can drop it? Slim Fat Joe is whiter than the soles of my feet…and im white from australia!

      1. Pun and Joe are Peurto Rican. Australia doesn’t have a history with the word. You don’t get to use it just because you listened to 50 Cent when you were 12.

        1. Mate you can’t be serious? Maybe google aboriginals in australia..do some research. How does being Puerto (i can spell it) Rican give you a pass? And at no point did i say i used it, but when ever rapper uses the term for commercial gain how are we not supposed to sing along? Self censorship?

          1. I have never said a curse word in front of my mother and I curse so yeah you can avoid saying an offensive word if you want

    8. Its weird to see xan getting shit for this while 69 and fat joe getting pass. They all have caucasian skin Color. Not trying to be insensitive, I know the word is loaded with A heavy history BUT its Weird How people look for A latin Person in family tree to give the right to use the word. IM not american and this just feels really weird, nitpicky and american AF.

      1. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and no one could say it but black people. I lived in New York for 13 years and black people were cool with Latin people saying it. Go figure

    9. Only giant cowards would ever get so offended by a word that they feel the need to censor it. It’s a fucking word, it is literally incapable of hurting you.

      1. But if you say it to the wrong one or around the wrong one that bullet will hurt an awful lot. Idk I don’t say it but I see both points

    10. I thought Latinos got a pass when it comes to the N-word? So hard to keep up with all the rules but why have consistency when you can just be selectively offended. I think trying to take ownership of a racial slur but still keep it as an offensive term is utterly ridiculous. The irony is that it’s black people that are keeping that word around and casualising it.

    11. He is Mexican, if you let big pun , Fat Joe, 6ix9ine, pitbull and JLo say it why not lil xan? its just a word. Let him live.
