Travis Scott briefly put his rap career on hold to be a couples counselor at his recent Miami show.

La Flame’s Circus Maximus tour made its way to the MIA on Monday (November 27), where he spotted a couple arguing in the crowd. Apparently moved to want to assist, Travis had the stage lights directed toward the pair and made them hug it out – though it was met with a bit of reluctance at first by one of them.

“I see y’all arguing right there. Put the spotlights on them right there,” he said. “Hey, I see y’all arguing tonight. It’s okay – security, back up. This is a love thing. They just need love today. And today y’all gon’ have a good muthafuckin’ time.”

He continued: “So what I want you to do right there, I want you to give her a big hug real quick. Stand up. Now you gotta give him a hug if you love him! You gotta give him a real hug! Yeah, there we go!”

Travis Scott has been interacting with the crowd quite often on the Circus Maximus tour. In a clip captured at the Austin stop of the trek last week, a fan who was clearly ready to rage can be seen running through the elaborate stage setup.

At first, Travis grabs him by the shirt collar and looks like he is going to get him out of dodge immediately. But once security comes running, Cactus Jack actually waves them off and instead decides to rage alongside the excited fan.

The kid concluded his time on stage – by the end of which he was shirtless – by diving into the crowd.

Not everyone loved the moment, however, as Jermaine Dupri later spoke out and expressed his concern about the safety of both Travis Scott and the fan himself upon seeing the clip.

“I just saw a kid jump onstage with Travis [mind blown emoji],” he wrote on Twitter. “Do y’all know how dangerous that is? Like! What is security doing to allow this? And then once they see him, they wanna rough him up — it’s too late at that point, SMH.”

He later deleted the post.
