West Coast emcee Tone Loc apparently had a seizure during a comedy show at the Laugh Factory on Monday (August 13).
The comedy show was a charity event to benefit “My Friend’s House,” which provides food for the homeless.
TMZ cites reports that Loc began flailing around in his seat, fell to the floor, and was “gasping for breath.” The emcee apparently recovered quickly, so the ambulance that had been called was canceled.
Tone Loc has had a recent history of medial emergencies. In December 2010, Loc was arrested for a DUI after being pulled over for erratic driving, but the rapper blamed it on a seizure. Additionally, Loc collapsed during a performance in 2009 in Florida, in 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia, and this year in Austin, Texas.
Tone Loc’s manager maintains that the rapper did not suffer a seizure, blaming the incident on bad food.

Maybe it was the second album he released. it was good, but nowhere near the success that Loc’ed After Dark was.
