Tiny Harris has claimed that The Notorious B.I.G. apologized to her for dissing her group Xscape very shortly before he was murdered.
Biggie had taken a shot at the Atlanta girl group on his 1994 single “Just Playing (Dreams)” where he rapped: “I’ll fuck RuPaul before I fuck them ugly ass Xscape bitches.”
In a new interview on The Morning Hustle with Xscape band members, Tiny revealed that Biggie had apologized to them for the diss.
She said: “Somebody came—I don’t know if it was Diddy—somebody came and said Biggie wanna speak to y’all. I was just like, ‘I’m going to see what he’s talking about.’
“And you know, he was very nice, he was very apologetic and he basically said, ‘I don’t know what I was thinking. Look, I’m ugly—I’m ugly as hell. Y’all is beautiful, and I just wanted to say I apologize.’”
The singer, who later married T.I. then said that BIG died “probably like 20, 30 minutes after”.
Given Biggie was killed shortly after leaving a Soul Train Awards afterparty in Los Angeles, there is a very good chance that he apologized during this event.
Tiny had previously said that Biggie had reached out to the group on multiple occasions to discuss the line in the song but that they were not interested in hearing him explain himself or receiving an apology from the future rap legend.
In other Tiny news, her husband T.I. recently leaped to her defense at a concert as she appeared to get herself involved in a confrontation with another fan.
In a clip circulating this week, Tip can be seen jumping down from the stage to where Tiny was on the side of the stage and pushing back a few men who were seemingly bothering her while he was performing.
He just as quickly hopped back on stage and while joking it was a “quick intermission,” added: “Leave her alone. If you see me [and] I ain’t right there with her, leave her alone! I’ll flip the muthafuckin’ table.”
Tip and Tiny are yet to comment on the incident or what caused it.
I think their lying to save face and as a way to not diss biggie..and did biggie look in the mirror or at the women he had before fame and money?
