This week’s top song may turn heads. Whether because of curiosity or genuine enjoyment, Cash Money signees Limp Bizkit brought their brand of Rap Metal back to the forefront, landing a top spot with “Ready to Go.” Over a year after originally signing to the house Slim and Baby built, Limp Bizkit is joined by labelmate Lil Wayne on the high-octane track, which begins with a spritely “go fuck yourself.” John Legend hopped on the list again, this time via an assist from Rick Ross on “Who Do We Think We Are.” Top Dog Entertainment ran the charts this week, with Kendrick Lamar landing four tracks in the Top 10, and ScHoolboy Q capturing a spot with “Yay Yay.”
50 Cent & Kendrick Lamar’s Second Video For The Second Version Of “We Up”
Just as 50 Cent had two versions of his song “We Up,” so did he release two videos for the track. The newest visuals features Fif and K. Dot waxing about the finer things (this time in color) as they trade verses from an incredible mansion. Watch the video below:
Tyler, The Creator Gets The Doll Treatment “IFHY” Featuring Pharrell
Tyler, the Creator takes great care in producing the visuals to accompany his releases. The video for “IFHY,” featuring Pharrell, is no different. The video, which features the Odd Future emcee getting dolled up, literally, has Tyler conflicted between love and hate. As he makes his way through a perfect dollhouse, it becomes clear that Tyler’s life is anything but:
Kidd Kidd
G-Unit rapper Kidd Kidd also provide some visuals this week, a segmented video for his song “Another Day (R.I.P. Tyson G-Strip).” The video features Kidd Kidd in an interrogation room being questioned by police. Elsewhere, the rapper, who calls himself a “rapper slash trapper slash clapper,” highlights gun violence in the streets. Peep the gritty video below:
