The Return of Tech N9ne

    One of independent hip-hop most notorious, Tech N9ne, born Aaron Dontez Yates, is
    best known for his hardcore approach to his rhymes about as well as he
    is known by his signature hairstyle.  The Kansas City rapper is
    readying to release his first studio release in four years with Everready on November 7th.  He’s sold over 500,000 units independently and will feature work with
    E-40, Brotha Lynch Mob and production from Rick Rock, who has been making the rounds with Jay-Z, E-40
    and Fabolous as of late.

    The album follows up his 2001 release, Anghellic and his 2002 release, Absolute Power.
    His single, “Jellysickle” is a MySpace favorite and along with E-40 it
    has garnered im over 500,000 plays.  He’s already shot two videos
    for the album, one for “The Rain” and another for “Bout Ta
    Bubble”.

    says. “It has the personal stuff Anghellic had or the party stuff that
    Absolute Power
    had. I think this is my best work.”

    will be the debut release from Strange Music’s new venture with
    Universal Music Groups subsidiary, Fontana, that had enjoyed some
    success with DJ Quik’s Trauma and DJ Muggs vs GZA’s, Grandmasters
    in 2005.  Tech N9ne is a co-owner of Strange Music with music exec. Travis O’Guin.
