The Outlawz Talk Tupac, New Album

With their new album, Perfect Timing out in stores, the Outlawz recently sat down to discuss their new project.

“This gonna be the best album. This gonna be the period on the sentence as far as I’m concerned,” said E.D.I. of the project’s contribution to the group’s legacy to Out Da Box Media, adding that it’s a better release than Still I Rise.

“It’s called ‘feel-good music,'” said Hussein Fatal. “It’s a feeling of feeling good and being back with your brothers and doing what you love to do, which is music.”

The project includes features from Scarface, Bun B, Tech N9ne, among others. “It was a pleasure to have our comrades on our album,” added Young Noble.

The group also touched on the topic of Tupac. “I learned [from Tupac] the work ethic to be in this industry and to maintain. That’s what I learned from ‘Pac – to be dedicated twenty-four-seven. Not just do it when you feel like doing it,” said E.D.I., a sentiment which the rest of the group echoed.

    1. yall just gonna pretend like you didnt say that was your last album huh? okay. have these guys ever been in the news without talking about 2pac?

      1. if you payed attention before you started hating, you would see that their talking about this album, duh. learn how to read you ignorant azz nigga.

    2. These guys are crazy. They have severe sexual obsession with Tupac that they masturbated every time they listen to he’s music.

Really these guys are starting to creep me out like a religious cult.

      1. cosign. every…damn…song/interview these nigga mention pac. we get it, niggas. but its been long enough, time to be your own men. we all love pac but god damn

      2. what do lil kim and the lox have to do with anything in this discussion? and those niggas actually had a career without biggie. they didnt have to talk about him in every interview just so people would interview them.

    3. Starting to feel like the outlawz using pac as a crutch. their music is wack. plus their latest album sold 638 copies.

      1. the outlawz talk about pac in almost every interview they’ve ever done. its excessive and started to look bad a long time ago. especialy since they werent making any type of noise. dont be mad.

    4. I’m a big Pac fan and he’s my fav rapper of all time, and yes I bought the album Still I Rise back in 99, which I thought they were pretty good on, but damn. Everytime I see an interview with them they gotta mention 2Pac. I was with them when I heard a few dope joints of theirs in the past, but come on stop mentioning the man and do what you do.

We get it he taught you the game, etc, now it’s time to stand on your own and stop feeling the need to talk about Pac everytime.

      1. they can keep his memory around for as long as they want to. malcom x and mlk children still big up them, so miss me with your extreme hate on the outlaws doing the same for pac!

    5. ya i feel they are just using his name for publicity to, we all kno dont worry, and i thought perfect time was ur last album

    6. Well I just downloaded the album to check it out, the last few have been under par forsure. I will say though this album is nearly as good as Still I Rise, but not quite there without Pac beside them. I will be buying it forsure though, im glad they are back and Fatal is back with them!

    7. BTW, the reason they always talk about Pac…because no contributing writer can go without asking them about him in any interview. What are they supposed to say, hes dead, were never gonna speak on him again! If your tired of them talking about him, then tell the magazines and contributing writers. They wont leave it alone!

    8. Every writer ever will always ask them at least one question related to Tupac, it’s not their fault in the least bit

    9. Man i feel sorry for these niggaz, man! they just cant let 2puc go, let him R.I.P, they remind me of niggaz that are 25,35,40&60 year old still living with the Mother, because they can not make it on their own, SAD very SAD indeed.

    10. I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND HOW YOU SMOKE ASHES WHEN THERE ALREADY BURNT, U EVER TRY HITTING A CASHED BOWL U DONT GET NOTHIN!!

    11. You feel sorry for the outlaws? U must make some serious money to have sympathy for ppl who have had a career for 10+yrs, when u proably just have a job. (job and career, big difference). For the record, im 1 of the biggest 2PAC fan, dont really care about the outlawz. But they have a rite 2 talk about whatever. If u knew they were gonna talk about PAC, and u didnt want to hear it, y click on the article. yall sound like funk flex with that b/s. nobody said shit when jadakiss, lil Kim, lil cease do the same thing wit biggie(and fyi, jada, the lox and lil cease never had successful careers), y can they do it? Hell, j.cole says jayz in every interview. But its not just the outlawz, everybody loves PAC. From lil Wayne preforming hail Mary, to tupac’s back. He just represented so much more. Thats y ppl love him so much. So sorry if mentiong PAC upsets u guy(especially new Yorkers), but on behalf of the outlawz, n tupac fans across the world…..FUCK OFF!!!

      1. ^^ You’re another idiot… All them cats you named were and are way more successful, check the #’s clown… Comin off as a bitter dickrider right now, stop it B

      2. @Blue did you even made it out of the 2nd grade, because you sure do not sound like it on here, I am sorry for you too, outlaw is outlawed with out 2pac tell them niggaz UPS is hiring

    12. man fuck these wack ass niggas! I’d rather listen to Lil Wayne, Boosie, Gucci and all them other “pop” rappers…..And I’ve been a Hip Hop junkie since 88…..These dudes continue to use Pac’s name to stay relevant. STAND ON YOUR OWN 2 FEET wack niggas……aaaaahhHHHHH WACK NIGGAS!! you niggas are commiting a crime by TRYING to spit the same shit over & over again.
