Legendary trio The LOX and its D-Block Records have made the next move in the group’s nearly two-decade career by announcing a partnership with Roc Nation to release its next album, Filthy America … it’s beautiful. The project is due out December 16.

Roc Nation made the announcement on its Twitter account and Jadakiss and Sheek Louch shared their excitement for the deal on Instagram.

At the beginning of the year, ‘Kiss hinted something was brewing as he posted a picture of himself, Sheek and Styles P posing with Roc Nation boss Jay Z.

For the album, Styles P, Sheek Louch and Jadakiss have prepared 12 tracks with features from Mobb Deep, Fetty Wap and Gucci Mane (he really is everywhere). Production will come from DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Dame Grease.

Filthy America … it’s beautiful is the Yonkers group’s first LP since 2000’s We Are the Streets, which came out on Ruff Ryders and Interscope after a dramatic split from Puff Daddy and Bad Boy Records. The LOX showed time heals all when they joined the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour this year.

    1. Fetty and Gucci greatly dissapoints me..stick to your fan base. These lil niggas ain’t gonna buy because them cats on it. Might as well put legends like jay Nas or face instead

    2. Fetty Wap is one of the grimiest dudes out there who just happens to have catchy hooks. He’s from Paterson for fuck’s sake. And Gucci has been shooting guns on tracks as much as Jada all these years. How is this that far from their fanbase? You grandpas complain about anything

      1. Idiot, fetty wap mumbles like a retard & Gucci mane is a retard. Most importantly they have no lyrical skill. Ny rappers rapping over trap beats sounds utterly ridiculous.

    3. Hopefully this can keep the head nodding like that tribe album…I heard a couple of songs and it looks like its headed that direction

    4. I gave up on these guys after they were rapping on trap beats lately, though i always liked Jadakiss.. Not saying him using Neptunes beats were any better, back in the day..

    5. Once again, terrible production does in the LOX. When will these guys learn? If they get a good beat, they are unstoppable, but this might be one of the biggest letdowns in hip hop history.

    6. Hay guys please don’t ignore this message if u will ignore this its your own loss. I am here to learn you how to earn.

    10. Some old bums rhyming about killing people, selling drugs etc. Retire old men!
Probaly wack beats and disappoitings songs as Always. Only some dudes in NY will listen to these old bums

    11. The crazy part of these corny beats is that, the MC’s on it are twice as dope as the beat itself. it seems like somebody else select the tracks for the LOX because it cannot be the group themselves. Sheek Louch, Styles P and definitely Jada got good taste in beats so why they fall short when selecting beats that fits all the voices? To put Fetty Wap and Gucci on that album is a curse more than a Christmas gift. This is a guy who throwing shots at the god “Nasir Jones”. Executive producer Jay-Z and he could lay a verse. Here’s a list of folks I would love on my next album: 1. Chris Rivers 2. Loaded Lux 3. Chrissette Michelle and/or Solange 4. Canibus 5. Bono 6. Alicia Keys people I can relate to. Not just another sound that can win you some extra fans in a particular region.

    12. Back in like 2006 or so, they were planning an album called New Lox Order, I believe it was. They went through several label changes, I think at one point they re-signed with Bad Boy to release it, and news kept coming and going about the final product. Basically, there was a time like 10 years ago when I was excited about a new Lox album, but that time came and went, and the list of features does nothing whatsoever to change my mind. I just hate when guys who were dope in the late 90s, early 2000s trend hop, cause it’s like they were never really dope, there was just a dope sound that was popular back then that they used to their advantage. All this is speculation obviously cause I haven’t heard it, but Fetty Wap and Gucci? Seriously? Get Alchemist and Statik on the beats, Freeway, Royce, and Termanology on the features, then you got something worth checking out. How is this through Roc Nation without even a Just Blaze beat or Jay-z feature? Come on now.

    13. Love the LOX but def wish they had more beats like the joint Smoke Dza recently released, ‘Milestone’. That’s their sound!!!

    14. finally we got some good music out…man i remember in 98 i went to their show in some hole in the wall club in atlanta…midway through the show them boys hopped offstage and got to stomping some people out…reminds me of how rick ross and them dade county boys stomped dj vlads ears together…them 305 dreadheads put hands and feet on vlad…beat him like a old virginia slave…played a game of kickball with vlads face…tapdanced on his chin…vlad didnt even fight back

    15. Lox is just Jay-Z’s taxe write off. Face it Roc nation didnt really promote the album, no single, no jay verse, a bunch of rappers and producers who are beyond their prime.

    16. Just an idea, but there needs to be a NY Mafioso super group to really showcase the 90s NY OGs still got it. Sheek, Jada, Styles, Nas, Cormega, AZ, Havoc, Prodigy, Ghostface & Raekwon… that’d be sick
