For The L.O.X., reuniting with Bad Boy once seemed like an impossible occurrence but that may be happening soon. According to a recent VIBE interview with The L.O.X.’s Sheek Louch, the group is looking to reunite with their former boss. Sheek added that they just need to get off of their current label to do so.
“The L.O.X. want to leave our current label home Interscope. We are trying to move on, but unfortunately, the label doesn’t want to let us go. We talked to Puff about coming back to Bad Boy; we gave him our counter offer and he said, ‘Yes.’ But it’s up to him to convince [Interscope head] Jimmy Iovine and Ruff Ryders to let go of their shares so we can move on.”
While the Yonkers trio once had beef with Diddy, it seems they have all patched things up.
“We are stuck in that position. As far as Kiss, myself and Styles, we are ready for a new deal. We are good with Diddy…he has agreed with what we are looking for as far as financially and everything.”
This L.O.X. reunion, however, may not come through Bad Boy in the end. Sheek added that other labels are also interested in the group’s reunion.
“Other labels are also throwing offers at us to make a L.O.X. reunion album happen. But it’s really about our lawyers moving everybody out the way and making a deal happen.”
Currently, Sheek is on Def Jam and will release his latest project Donnie G. in December.
These 3 are the best rappers/ worst businessmen in the game besides Nas and and a few corner rappers. Shit, its been over 10 fucking years since LOX dropped an album.
baby gone scoop em up
lox tryin to get off interscope, dipset wants to be on interscope. niggas never learn
lox fought to get off “rape’n you records” now they tryin to get back on. niggas never learn
we’ll be rape’n you, rape’n you, rape’n you, rape’n you…
I wish they would have been got off interscope. At least they drop a solo album each year since we are the streets dropped in 2000. Well young niggas, please take notes of how the industry fucks u ova w/ this contracts and “contract only” vocabulary.
smh if these fools go back to Diddy. Worse business acumen ever!!! They make Nas look like a business grad with his masters.
ahahahahaha
i can’t think of too many albums that have been delayed as long as new lox order
ok well Diddy is signed to Interscope and brought Bad Boy with him so yaw want to get off interscope and on to Bad Boy??? yaw need to make up yaws minds so yaw can put a damn album out already…and Interscope usually does their artist pretty well so idk what the deal is but they really do need to figure their shit out. in about a year were gonna be see a headline on here “The LOX Want Off of Bad Boy: We Fucked Up”
ahahahahahaha. after all that shit talking and crying about how they never got paid, the wanna re-sign with Bad Boy?
ahahahahahahahahahahaha
L.O.X. (Losers On Extacy)
So the label on back of their new cd is going to say:
Bad Boy/Ruff Ryders/D-Block/Rocafella/Def Jam/Interscope/Universal Records
??????
And they are wondering why they broke and never got paid? ahahahahaha. Not the smarted bunch from the Hip Hop tree.
“Not the smarted bunch” huh? SMARTED?
ahahaha, i meant to say smartest and typed too fast aight.
after 13 years in the biz, they haven’t learned a thing. What morons. They already have a world wide fan base and they are so stupid and lime light hungry, they wanna a sign another multi-label deal? Young Guru recently pointed out that If u sell even $5000 records independent, that’s $50,000. Which is more than most people’s salary. They had 13 years to start their own company and own their shit and they still have not figured it out. buncha idiots
What labels would make serious bids on these guys? Jadakiss is the only viable artist and his last album couldn’t even go Gold. It’s time for some of these rappers to forget the million dollar dream and just grind it out independently. There’s no shame in not being on a major, especially if it takes you a decade to get a product in stores.
Not this again, I hope they are not gonna start wearing t-shirts saying “Let the LOX Go”.
This shit is like deja vu.
These dudes are sad as hell. I can’t believe Diddy would ever work with these cats again. They’re the ones who started the “Diddy is a snake” negotiation gimmick that every flopped bad boy artist since has used. Now it’s proven that they’re lazy, un-business savvy bums, but the genie’s already out of the bottle.
Smarten up, LOX!!!!
1st i was blaming them for beeing bad business men ! Sheek is basically saying that they re on interscope because of their deal with ruf ryders
Now they want off …
They should have learned by now that the indie route isnt that bad
From what I understand, Diddy owns the LOX name. Notice that when they left Bad Boy, if all 3 were on a track, some kind of way, Diddy would make money off of that, so they started D-Block. Once off Bad Boy, all 3 recorded under D-Block, not LOX. So, I guess going back to Diddy would allow them to use the name again.
diddy signed to interscope, lo,l best part.
yo catch sheek louch live if you can, touring wit ghostface killah killah killah. just caught that shit shit was hot. check that donnie def jam guerilla warfare mixtape out dope. cocaine traffickin wit styles p is a banger!
Donnie G at least bitches!!!!
these niggas need to give it a rest. they aint got nothin new to offer except the same lyrics they said since 1998. bow out when ur time is up and bring the next breed in, like BIG did for them. what the hell happened to D-BLOCK?
this is the label bullshit ppl talk about

After all that bullshit against Puff to let the Lox go, now they want to go crawling back.
do what anyone how cant handle label politics does, go to koch records.
These cats won’t sell enough to krrp INTERSCOPE, BAD BOY, or ANT major label happy! They’d be lucky to sell 100k, good for E1/KOCH & not much else!
I swear from day 1 I felt these cats were making a HUGE mistake by leaving Bad Boy. As much as I love and support their music and everything they put out, but they’ve gotta be 3 of the worst business men in Hip Hop to date. I mean DAMN maybe they’re too hard for their own good. A few years ago Puff was the “Shinny Suit Man” and lets not mention all the “Let the Lox go” campaigns they had going on all over the city. And now they’re crawling back to make up??? This move wouldn’t hurt Puff one bit, his rap/hip hop roster on Bad Boy is currently is hopeless at best, they might be good for each other after all.(lol)
