Appearing on Club Shay Shay, Crawford was asked by Shannon Sharpe about the incident which occurred at one of 50 Cent’s tycoon weekends.
Crawford said: “Trey Songz was just having a moment. Is he serious or is he playing? I was waiting to go ‘I’m just playing with you’. I wasn’t gonna punch him, I was gonna choke him.”
He added: “I wanna choke you, I don’t even wanna punch you.”

In a previous interview with Cigar Talk, Crawford claimed that the altercation took place over a bet.

“He said, ‘Shot for shot, bet $100,’” he recalled. “So I shoot, I make it, boom. He shot, he missed, bam. I said, ‘So you got me a $100?’ He was like, ‘Bet that.’ I’m like, ‘Alright.’
“So I shot, I make it. He shot, he make it. So I’m like, ‘You still owe me $100.’ He was like ‘No we even.’ I started laughing.”
The boxer continued: “I don’t know if dude was drunk or something but he just started tripping. He was like, ‘I don’t care if you the world champion.’ I’m like, ‘Is he serious?’ I think he might be on drugs or something. I think he’s playing.
“So I’m like, ‘Man, I’ll take you in the back and make you cry, make you scream. What is you talking about?’”
Crawford then revealed that 50 Cent stepped in and diffused the situation.
“50 come over like, ‘Woaaaah.’ He was like, ‘Hold up, man. T, don’t fuck up the bag on this n-gga,’” he continued. “So we get to the dinner, 50 Cent did his little rap and he get on the microphone and was like, ‘We got Bud about to beat up Trey Songz.’
“Trey started laughing and came and dapped me up, so it was cool.”
50 Cent later confirmed that the story was true and suggested there was an extra element to the dispute involving Basketball Wives: Orlando star Mulan Hernandez.
