Tee Grizzley’s new chain comes equipped with more than just expensive diamonds; it carries a warning to anyone who may be thinking about snatching it.

The Detroit rapper flaunted his latest jewelry purchase on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday (November 2), giving his followers a close-up of the diamond-encrusted pendant depicting his trademark grizzly bear holding a fish in its mouth.

“What’s nice comes twice,” he said in the clip. “We don’t cry about no losses, we gon’ get it back. Speaking of back, you see what the back of that say?”

Tee Grizzley then flipped over his pendant to reveal a message directed at other rappers and would-be robbers. “This ain’t worth dying over,” it reads.

“That’s a big fact,” he continued. “We don’t buy jewelry back off the streets. You better not get caught with it.”

Tee Grizzley’s iced-out warning comes after he was robbed of over $1 million in jewelry and cash. According to police, burglars broke into his home in the affluent Los Angeles suburb of Porter Ranch in early September. Thankfully, neither Tee nor anyone in his family were home at the time.

“I appreciate everyone reaching out and checking on me and shit,” the 28-year-old said in an Instagram video after news of the robbery surfaced. “I’m good and my family good, thank God!”

Tee Grizzley is far from the only rapper to be targeted by thieves of late. Megan Thee Stallion was also the victim of a burglary in October after robbers took off with almost $500,000 in jewelry, cash and electronics from her L.A. pad.

PnB Rock — a close friend and collaborator of Tee Grizzley — tragically lost his life during a robbery at a South Los Angeles restaurant in September. The Philadelphia native, 30, was shot and killed after at least one armed culprit demanded the couple’s jewelry.

“Man, that was fucked up, bro. That was hard,” he said. “I feel like I lost a genuine friend in this shit, and genuine friends in this business is hard to come by, so that was tough.”
