Tank has no doubts about which MC is best suited to handle the Rap/R&B crossover that has become a staple in Hip Hop, but fans online have now challenged his opinion.

In a clip from an unreleased episode of the R&B Money podcast shared on Wednesday (March 6), the 48-year-old and J. Valentine talked about Fabolous‘ ability to seamlessly spit over the kinds of beats they usually sing over.

“Fab may be the best R&B–rap [collaborator] of all time,” J. Valentine said, which the TGT superstar sealed with: “Nobody raps on R&B better than Fabolous.”

Soon after the video was uploaded to Instagram, fans bean flooding the comments section with their own takes.

“I gotta agree with this!!! The fact that he rapped on Tamia’s I’m So Into You pretty much stamped it for me lol,” one person wrote, while another added: “Facts on facts! Fab hands down is the best to do it.”

A lot of users, however, disagreed with the take and named artists such as Rick Ross, Drake, Ma$e and Ja Rule as being better suited to the role. The one spitter whose name was brought up the most, however, was Wale.

In other news, Fabolous recently disputed N.O.R.E’s flex about being the first recipient of a new product by one of the world’s biggest luxury fashion houses.

In late February, the Drink Champs host shared a series of clips on Instagram in which he unboxed a package from Louis Vuitton and showed off a pair of earphones (which he kept referring to as headphones) the brand had sent him.
